We have just left this absolutely beautiful French Manor house
From start to finish we were made welcome and allowed time to relax and unwind
We stayed in the Grand Champagne Suite with our two children , the rooms are simply lovely with fresh cotton linen with lavender flowers on your pillows
Other treats are in the room like miniature cognac and chocolates
Breakfast is delicious with Liz bringing a little home baked treat to make you smile
Facilities are great swimming pool and hot tub amongst beautifully restored barns and walls
Anyone staying here will be spoilt and never want to leave
However the extra special place is made this way by the wonderful hosts in Liz and Will
Thank you we hold such special memories now

Le Manoir is just perfect. Built in a walled courtyard with swimming pool , jacuzzi and sauna.
Liz is a perfectionist - beautiful bedlinen, towels, fluffy bathrobes and White Company toiletries.
Our room was large and furnished with antiques that suit Le Manoir. We overlooked the gardens and pool with beautiful far reaching views of the surrounding countryside.
We borrowed a couple of old bikes and cycled around the peaceful , pretty village of Gourvillette.
Breakfast was lovely,a little jug of roses from the garden on our table, linen tablecloth and napkins, and a huge selection of goodies to eat.
Liz and Will have thought of everything to make a stay here comfortable , relaxed and luxurious

Le Manoir is a beautiful hotel in a lovely little village. All the rooms are stunning with olde world charm? The grounds are very pretty and there is a swimming pool set within the attractive courtyard. Unfortunately we only stayed for the one night so did not take advantage of all Le Manoir has to offer. LIz, the owner, welcomed us with tea and biscuits.
We had asked if an evening meal was available and Liz cooked us a delicious four course meal. Breakfast the following morning was all home cooked and lovely.
The attention to detail at Le Manoir is superb, lavender on the pillows, miniatures of cognac and home made cheese straws with our bottle of wine.
We hope to stay at Le Manoir when we go to France again but for longer next time.

As soon as you drive through the gates you know you have arrived somewhere special. Set in a lovely village, the house and gardens are stunning. Our first impressions were confirmed when we were greeted by Liz Weeks. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she could not have been more friendly or helpful. A perfect b&b.

This is my 3rd stay and it is always a pleasure to relax here. The meals, the decore and the petite village are classic French country side. I will stay here when ever I am in Cognac. Will and Liz are consumate hosts at this B&B. I want to come back and spend a week in one of the "gites" when I have more time.
