“great value”
Reviewed 15 September 2013

We ate here just one evening during our weeks stay due to many of the food pubs not serving food during the week in September. There was a great choice and we just had a main course due to the generous portions. Quality, service and the beer was great. If food had been on all through the week we would have eaten there every night.

“Best pub in the area bar none”
Reviewed 19 August 2013

We stopped here at lunch time and had to carry our toddler in who was passed out after a busy day at the beach.
The lady who served us could not do enough for us and she was quite busy at the time.
The food was good with standard lunch time fayre but it was the service and the craic that made it. As my wee boy did not wake until the end of the meal, his was put in a takeaway box which I then ate when he woke!
We also came back here for an evening meal and I had the Roast of the Day - it was the tastiest Roast Turkey meal I have had outside of my mum's of course!
Very good value and great craic in the bar and the staff are so nice.
Definitely call in for a pint of Guinness or for a snack or even a Roast of the Day if you are in the area!

“Lovely food great value”
Reviewed 9 August 2013

We ate here twice last week and both times it was delicious. I especially recommend the stir fry. Service with a smile at a great price. Wednesday night is family night, quiz, bingo and karaoke.
Message to owners - please keep this menu all year round.
