I was thinking about how I was going to write this review last night. When I got to work today I read the three following reviews from apbinet, sugarcubeBrighton, and EKD2013 and thought that there was no way that I could write anything more complete than they did. When I read their reviews, it was as if I was reliving our week-long vacation. My wife and I have visited many Caribbean islands, and a couple of places in Central America and we have not found any place else that we like more. Forgive my cheesiness, but the way that the entire team took care of us, it it was more like being at home than I have experienced anywhere else. We had a driver for the week (Sam from Vernon's Taxi Service) who became like a member of our family.

I know that we will return to Nonsuch Bay as soon as humanly possible. I can't imagine not going back.

Room Tip: Ask for a second floor one bedroom apartment.

What a fantastic treat, again! This was my third visit to Nonsuch, the first with teens and a grandparent, the 2nd with grown up children, this time with my partner. How lovely to see so many familiar faces in the welcoming and wonderful staff who pamper and go to such effort to make the week truly memorable. Charmaine and all the staff in the restaurant, David running the bar, Juanita taking such meticulous care of our apartment and belongings. The resort has grown up and is more beautifully lush each year. Our apartment had a panoramic view of the bay (spectacular) and was very spacious and well equipped. The restaurant at Nonsuch is a huge topic of conversation all week because everyone is so looking forward to the next meal! There is a new chef, Chef Mitchell, since my last visit....I wondered if it could possibly be as good as before?? The food is simply magnificent, at all meals. There is great choice for all appetites and the dinner menu now changes every 2 days. We had intended to eat out elsewhere on the island a few nights but with all the excellent choices here, we couldn't tear ourselves away! The sailing staff (Leslie, Mickey, Natasha) were tremendous as always, no matter what your sailing experience. It is shockingly beautiful and peaceful sailing out in the bay, the ever-changing color of the water, exploring creeks, sneaking up on turtles. We did a few fun little trips, including English Harbour, Long Bay, and Stingray City; mostly, however, we were highly content to hang out in this wonderful and remote oasis of a resort! Worth a mention, my partner and I are active sorts and he wondered about fitness for the week.....Although Nonsuch doesn't technically have a gym, we started each day with walking/running the hills and tracks around the resort. I can report that this is a very serious workout as the resort is built on the side of a cliff :). This was a great start to the day, especially before our substantial breakfast. Free Wifi in the rooms was another bonus. Such a great week; I cannot wait to go back!

Room Tip: I have now been in several rooms and they were all very spacious with wonderful views.

Recently stayed at NSB whilst in Antigua. It was only a short stay unfortunately as it was a birthday surprise but it was wonderful. From start to finish we had a fantastic time. Huw, Delicia and Ruth all were in on the surprise and really helped me pull it off without a hint to the birthday girl. From the moment we walked in the door to "just have lunch" at the gorgeous restaurant we were treated to 5 Star service and hospitality. After the wonderful lunch at which another surprise was a bottle of wine from the Staff for the birthday girl (I recommend the Tuna in the Ginger and Soy reduction, Shiitake Mushroom and edamame bean terrine, it was delicious), we got to see one of the villas. A two bedroom villa by one of the pools was shown to us (another surprise upgrade thanks to Huw) and it wasn't until the keys were placed into the birthday girl's hands did the penny drop. Thanks to everyone at NSB for being so fantastic. It really made our trip. I certainly recommend the trip over to Green Island for a swim and snorkel. We were the only people on the beach and it was heavenly.

Dinner was equally delightful with gorgeous views over the moonlit bay accompanied by delicious food. The Curry spice rubbed Mahi with Coconut Risotto is a must try!

The whole experience of Non Such Bay could not be better. The drive through the complex to the reception is lovely, the apartments are exceptional and so well maintained, furnished and equipped to such a high standard it was like staying in a show home. The grounds are well maintained and kept looking lovely. The staff were all friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble to accommodate the guest. Thank you again. We will definitely be back for more.

This was our fourth holiday at Nonsuch and the resort is developing fabulously! It seems to just get better and better, so it's about time to write about it. The grounds have grown up and are now lush and colourful in their stunning setting in between the hillside and the sea, and the accommodation feels as fresh as ever. We have visited as a couple, with our children and once with about 5 other families, so we've tried a few formulae and they have all worked beautifully; the varied and spacious apartments seem to allow peace and quiet for couples and families or larger groups alike. The abundant living space - inside and out - in apartments (and villas) of all sizes seems to make all the difference in this respect too. And these apartments are lovely and bright - they have been finished to a really high standard, are well equipped and super comfy. If you're missing anything, Coleen, Mariette, Terita, Zoe and the team seem to produce it out of thin air.

I happily spent all of several days relaxing at Nonsuch - by the (3) pools, on our deck, at the beach, snorkelling.....simple. Other days we mustered a bit of oomph and headed for the boats. Lesley, Shakimba, Mickey, Akim, Natasha and Denise are all on tap to take you for a sail, teach you to sail, or rig up the boats (dinghy, Hobie or keel) for more experienced types to set off in. With their help and some encouragement, we tried them all! The bay is a set inside a reef which means it's well protected from the Atlantic waves but the breeze is pretty dependable (if you're a kite surfer, it's heaven out by Green Island). It's always a highlight out in the boats to see turtles or dolphins and this time we got a close view a few times!

The restaurant is just not like home. It's open air, perched above the beach and sea, and Chef Mitchell is really terrific. He is new since our last visit and the food - which was always very good - is excellent and the menu is now nicely varied; the evening menu was changing every two days. The produce is fresh and local if possible, and Chef is proud of his suppliers. The whole team are wonderfully friendly and cheerful: Schena, David and Timmy at the bar, Charmaine, Genela, Yendi and Vonda (they were so good remembering our names that I hope I haven't left anyone out!). As on previous occasions, we took the Half-board option (so it's a holiday away from the kitchen for me) so we were spoiled at breakfast and dinner and happily catered for ourselves from our vast kitchen at lunchtime (paninis, salads, cold drinks of all varieties!).

We didn't spend a lot of time away from the resort this time but it's easy to rent a car for a trip to English or Falmouth Harbours, out for lunch or dinner, Stingray City (which we tried this time and really enjoyed), or a good explore of the island. Or you can simply book a taxi.

We'll be back to Nonsuch asap - it's a really unique combination of island appeal, lovely accommodation (it's hard to go back to hotel rooms after these digs) and friendly atmosphere (it was so nice to be welcomed back by so many familiar, friendly faces). Quite perfect!

we were looking for a nice resort with good service and good food... we found non such bay to be beyond our expectations... making our honeymoon a special trip we will always remember.
staff is amazing from booking till check out (thank you Coleen, shena, zoe, terita, charmaine, shenaca and the one we are forgetting...... massive thank you to the Chef, michael that is deserving his fame).
beach is not so nice but going to green island or long bay compensate.
we booked a car for 3 days, went on a boat trip to green island... not only were we alone on a lovely beach, snorkeling, but we could order food that got delivered in the island... and drinks...
speaking of which... amazing cocktails, ang good wine card (try the malbec catena).
PS- we highly recommand the lobster panini...

My experience at Nonsuch Bay Resort was the most relaxing one. The sea breeze was a knocker, the food was delicious, the drinks were perfect and the staff were very kind and pleasant. The location of the resort is perfect, away from large numbers and out of town with peace and quiet.

This is a resort were you can go to relax.

We can't speak highly enough about Nonsuch Bay. Just about everything we experienced of the place was absolutely first-class! The development itself is amazingly situated, and without doubt the most carefully considered of all developments, being superbly sympathetic to it's situation. The facilities are all of the highest quality, and superbly served. It is more remote than other resorts, but that suits the situation and place it is attempting to be. The sailing/watersports facilities are excellent, too. There have been some concerns about the approach road, which is not yet metaled. However, we had a car for the entire fortnight, and went off site every day. We didn't notice the road after the first time we used it. The restaurant at the hotel has a small, but excellent menu each night, though we thought the prices were high for what was served.
However, if there is one thing that outshines the resort itself, it is the staff on site! Everyone from security at the entrance, to Zoe and co. at reception, are wonderful. Servicing the saling facilities, the crew of Leslie, Kimba, Akim and Micky at the sailing club were truly wonderful! And, Natasha, who runs both the 'Kids Club' and is the hottest skipper of a catamaran we've seen yet, is an authentic 'Angel'! Don't miss the chance for these guys to drop you off on Green Island for a few hours. It's amazing!
Thanks to the management team of Cameron and Hugh for providing us with everything we needed. (the tip to use the FBO at Antigua airport was excellent)
They only allow you to score 5-out-of-5......... We can't wait to come back! We're already checking the school calendar for next year!

Room Tip: We have 2 kids of 11 and 13, and the beach front bungalow we had was perfect. They are ideal for the...
