“So good we keep going back.....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 January 2014

We first went to NonSuch Bay Resort as part of our honeymoon trip in 2010 and since then we have been back each year following our sailing trips to Antigua. Staying here is a perfect end to our holiday! The appartments are well kitted out, perfect size and allows you as much privacy as you need. The service we have experienced has been excellent, so friendly and we are always made to feel so welcomed. The restuarant is excellent especially the carbonara, great wine list too! Sailing is great, sailing team extremely helpful and what perfect sailing conditions you get in the Bay....! Ideal for the adventurers or for those who just want time to re-charge their batteries. I can not give Nonsuch Bay Resort any bad press!!!

The Nonsuch is a fantastic resort for families. The accomodations allow you the convenience of having meals with your family and eating on your own schedule while enjoying your porch and the conveniences of your own "home". It is isolated enough for you to have privacy, but is central enough to get to other attractions and beaches as long as you rent a car. It's a tremendous vacation destination...especially for families.

Room Tip: All accomodations are "central".

We stayed here for a week in December. Really liked the apartment. It was very spacious, well kitted out, and had an excellent and comfortable bed, and the bedding was good too. The bathroom was large, quite basic, but adequate for our needs. To be picky it was annoying that the only mirror in the apartment was in the bathroom, but this is probably a small problem for most.
There is only one restaurant on site, and the food was very hit and miss, and quite expensive for the standard. A couple of times my husband and I ordered the same meal, and one was fine and the other wasn't. Definitely needs more consistency from the kitchen, The staff there are generally good though, especially David & Paula in the bar.
The beach is small but quiet, there is quite a lot of seaweed in the sea, but this didn't really bother us. The sun beds are basic with no cushions which my husband felt was a problem but it wasn't really an issue for me. I really liked the fact the shade on the beach is palm trees etc and not umbrellas.
You really do need a car to stay here though if you want to self cater in the apartment, as the nearest Supermarket is at least 30 minutes away, in fact everything is at least that far away! Nothing is walkable, even the next nearest restaurant to the resort you need a car to get to. However, if you want a really comfortable apartment, away from it all this is the place to go.

Room Tip: The apartments level with the road have better views of the bay, we were lower down and had to go do...

We visited because we wanted to go sailing but also had lunch - the best tuna I have eaten in years and fantastic service in a great location. We went sailing in RS Elites and had a great sail to Green Island. The friendly staff persuaded us to came back for sailing racing regatta and a bar b q a few days later and it was well worth it. The boats are in excellent condition with a very friendly team to look after you whether you are a sailor or not. The Bar B Q was fantastic too..and what a view. Looking forward to the next time we visit!!

Just come back from two weeks in this delightful spot on the planet, we had read some really great comments about it, along with a couple of negatives, but gave it a shot, and we were delighted, the comments about the beach are somewhat unfounded, that said it is a beach exposed to and onshore breeze which inevitably brings in some detritus, but the staff diligently racked it clean every morning early, so really no issue.
As to the road, well it is just a non issue unless you want issues on you holiday, yes is a bit rough and unfinished, and you do wonder when on it for the first time where the hell it's going, fret not, a small piece of Paradise awaits, Non Such Bay, has beautifully appointed apartments and although the resort was full when we were there it's never felt busy, the food was a fine balance between plenty to eat and fine dining. Food is always a bit subjective but as an ex restaurateur of some 10 years it was right on point for us, served in delightful surroundings.
For those who need a whinge.. Well as said its a bit breezy, but the silver lining is that it never feels oppressively hot, and you can get really good sunburn without knowing it so take care!
So many thanks to the team at NSB, Zoe, Ruth, Tameeka (wrong spelling) the Taxi team from the airport, and the water sports team at 40 Knots based at the resort.

Great and professional staff, rooms are built to a really high standard, the bar overlooks the bay and has amazing views, the food is absolutely delicious and great for water sports. Nothing but positive things to say about it. The only thing is that it is slightly far from Falmouth and English bays. But if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful vacation look no further.

A friend and I stayed for a few days with the aim of learning to kitesurf at 40 knots. We booked a 2 bed villa through hotels.com (cheaper than the 1 bed, it turned out!). The villa was incredible - very spacious, well equipped, lovely view, huge balcony with chairs and sun beds and great value for money. There's only one restaurant, which is lovely but not that cheap (but in line with other nice restaurants in Antigua). Service is sometimes slow but that's Caribbean time for you :) Staff are always very helpful. Great cocktails too. There's a small beach and best of all there's a local watersports at the hotel - kitesurfing, sailing and kayaking. Next time I would hire a car to be able to see other things on the island. This place is a lovely getaway and staff are very helpful - in particular Zoe, Liza and we had a lovely massage from Ashley, who comes with her massage bed to your room.
