On a family visit to Antigua I happened to be staying at Nonsuch Bay Resort. I decided to have a go, and by the end of the holiday I was hooked! I was taught by Susan, who emphasized fun, safety, and really helped me learn rapidly.
Susan and Chris are both great people; helpful and fun to learn from, and to talk to. While kitesurfing isn't a sport to learn on a very tight budget, the 40 Knots team are very reasonable with rates (e.g. if the wind decreases then you pay for the time in which you learned, etc.), and don't try to get you out there when it isn't suitable.
To my inexperienced eye all of their equipment seemed top-notch: it was well maintained, and up-to-date (like the new 19m kite!).
The bay is a perfect place to learn, particularly as it was empty early in the season, and I have every intention of returning! Thanks for the great instruction!
