It has a car park so you can drive to it. In the park is a lovely cafe which serves tea and home made cakes. Follow the paths around through the well kept well maintained woodlands, popular with dog walkers, and find yourself in the grounds of a 13th century ruins of a castle.

This is an ancient woodland which has been used by the local community for many years, we used to go on Good Friday to the "Bluebell Wood" with our sandwhiches and drink.
Nowadays with the Rangers and Vounteers it is even a nicer place, the paths have been improved and there is even one up to Ewloe Castle.
The entry to the Park from the Wepre Drive end, in Connah's Quay has a large car park many play areas for the children and a very interesting Centre with much information about the Park and its animals.
Many activities are organised by Flintshire County Council and their Rangers and an activity booklet is available at the Centre, local libraries and from the Council.
Can provide good outdoor family entertainment.

There are numerous things to enjoy here. First a good playground by the visitor centre, which has a selection of sweets in jars for as little as a penny each. Then there is a very pleasant walk through the woods, beside a stream, to the the modest but quite attractive ruins of Ewloe Castle. Wepre Park is the sort of place you can easily find yourself enjoying more than more prestigious attractions.
