We were walking Offas Dyke and this pub was just right for our lunchtime stop. We were joined by our family and it really couldn't have been better. The landlord was brilliant. Moving tables and chairs, finding a high chair and chatting to the children so they felt important. Wished we could have stayed longer, but we had to get on!
We ordered simple lunch food -baguettes, plough mans and sausage and chips but it was all perfect. There was a very large party having a sit down lunch and they all seemed very happy with their food. So I can only think this would be a good place to stay when walking the Dyke.
