This site must be one of the best in France, the coastal location is stunning.
The facilities are excellent for kids of all ages and the place has a very friendly and safe atmosphere.
This has been our 7th visit to Le Ranolien and our kids have loved it every time, from being toddlers to older teens now having the run of the site.

We have recently returned from a 10 night stay and can highly recommend this site. It is very well looked after. There is plenty to keep all ages of kids happy...we took two 15 year old boys! The pool area is great.

The only negative, me and my husband felt, was that the lovely little poolside terrace bar wasn't open often enough in the evenings. As far as we knew it only opened one night during our stay for a cocktail night. We personally would have liked to sit there in an evening for a few drinks rather than inside the bar area....which was fine in it's own right, but not all the entertainment was to our personal choice. This is only a minor negative and did not spoil our holiday in any way.

The area surrounding the campsite is stunning, the pink granite coastal walk......beautiful, especially at sunset.

We had a wonderful holiday and wouldn't hesitate in returning.

Room Tip: We travelled with Canvas holidays and we were very happy with our accommodation....the reps, Angela...

All you need for a family holiday . Stunning locations nearby just a short walk to the pink granite coast. The campsite is first class with plenty to do for the kids and a decent bar etc for the adults seemed very safe and friendly would highly recommend . Indoor and outdoor pools with water slides and a outdoor hot tub , crazy golf was the only drawback the course needs higher walls to keep the ball on it . The chalets were spotless also nice grocery shop on site and not to pricey the atkeaway was very good also .

We stayed a fortnight in an Horizon 3 bed with decking. The accommodation was well equipped and spacious. Although a little tired in places, it was clean.

The site has excellent facilities, including an onsite Spa (expensive) and an Hammam/Turkish Bath (free). The swimming pool is very good and kept very clean by the staff. There is a small area for toddlers and outdoor slides for bigger children and adults. There are some noisy groups and we didn't see any evidence of enforcement of the "quiet after 11 p.m." rule.

There is also a good play area and free bouncy castles for the children. These might get a bit busy in peak season.

The bar stocks a wide range of drinks, all at reasonable prices. There is entertainment each evening, of varying standards. If you want to venture off site to eat, there are several very good restaurants within walking distance. Alternatively the onsite restaurant serves good quality meals.

The site shop is also very well stocked with everything you could need, or a Super U about 5 minutes drive out of the campsite (turn right at the entrance and keep straight on the main road to Tregastel).

Wifi access is available in the bar, but is temperamental and costs E6 for 5 hours access. There are no refunds offered if you can't connect. It is cheaper to pay a euro for 30 minutes access to a computer (available at Reception).

The site is well positioned for those who want access to the coastal path, and there are also multiple boat trip otpions from nearby Tregastel, Ploumanach or Perros Guirec.

Room Tip: Placements at the edge of the site may be quieter.

Just returned from a week staying in a Safari tent on this fantastic site. The tent was great, more roomy than a caravan and with proper, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen area and fridge freezer, plus a heater for the colder nights. We stayed in the same tent as the previous reviewer and although there was a grid in front of the tent I can't say I gave it a second thought whilst there. Tents are waterproof and quite snug once all the flaps are closed. The site itself was amazing, all the facilities you need with good indoor and outdoor pools, very nice restaurant and creperie and well stocked shops. The local area is simply stunning, the coast is a stone throw away, very nice beaches within 10 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk and plenty of small specialist shops in the nearby towns. The Eurocamp reps Derek and Margaret were very helpful, providing additional duvets for the kids when it looked like it was going to be a cold night. They were always on hand and made sure everything was okay with our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We booked a few days last minute with Eurocamp. We chose their Safari Tent which as it turns out is a new venture for them on this site. Great tent very spacious and great fun however very much an after thought in respect of their location. One of the 2 tents is located in the shade and next to a underground running drain. Shame because the site is very clean and ideally located next to the coast.Let down on this one by Eurocamp. Thank you to Derick and Margret for helping sort things out for us.

Room Tip: There are two tents - assuming they keep them in the same location avoid w29

There isn't much bad to say about this lovely Yelloh! Camping Village.

The area, the coast of pink granite (rough translation) is simply beautiful and full of little bays and beaches to explore. We travelled here with a toddler and were able to enjoy beautiful walks and coastal paths (from the campsite) pushing her around in a smaller pram (not a serious off-roader, just a BabyJogger City Mini).
The campsite itself is quite large though not huge. You can comfortably walk about in it and there is plenty for kids to see and do. A themed minigolf, a great adventure play area with lots of climbing and balancing things and the whole lot on soft surfacing. There's also a little children's playroom in a mobile home.
There is another smaller playground for toddlers and next to the restaurant, yet another tower and slide.
Add to this the fantastic pool complex which has just been renovated since we were there. This has many outdoor pools (they were quite cold in May) with slides and waterfalls. Indoor pools have been renovated now and have some splash play areas for toddlers and a pool.

The restaurant on site (there is also a creperie and a take-away) defied all campsite rules and produced steaks so good that we went back three times! The crepes are also good.

We had one of the new mobile homes and it is lovely with the exception of a small couch (2-seater) which is inflatable and so offers no support. You sink way down into it, but that might just be my big butt.
The only other downside was that the previous tenant in our unit had fried a lot of fish or seafood and the unit smelt of it, as did the frying pan no matter how much I scrubbed, The camp staff were very helpful and provided commercial grade cleaners and air fresheners and we managed to get rid of it after two days. The camp did their part on this, the previous guests here were the problem. I rate them 1-star.

Internet did cost but was no problem once up and running.

There is a large Super-U supermarket a few minutes drive away and a biscuterie about 5 minutes walk. Both of those can be a danger to your waistline. But delicious.
We will not hesitate to come back, to what we think is probably the best campsite on the coast in Bretagne.

Room Tip: The Grand large units are definitely the best. Book direct with Yelloh! for nicer units ate better p...
