We used this hotel as our final stop before the tunnel in the morning. Lady on front desk had a bit of english, but was very pleasant and glad I could speak a bit of French! Hospitable place. Very very basic. Rooms were adequate for a night stay, but on the small side (had two rooms next to each other) bunk beds in both rooms along with a double bed (in both rooms). Average comfort - not great but not too bad either. The only issue we all had was the bathrooms stinking! Was really difficult to stay in their and brush your teeth in the morning (smelt like sewage at night, but like amonia in the morning)! Fine for our big family as a stop over. We opted for the breakfast and approximately 4.90 euros each (kids were 2'ish euros?) Breakfast consisted of cake, coissants, cereal, yoghurts, tea, coffee etc. Very basic - more for a business stopover really. Done us for the night :) TV, plug sockets and lights. Make your own bed. Car Parking outside (can get packed at night but always seems to be plenty of space. No tea or coffee making facilities.

Room Tip: Good for travellers, business men etc. Wouldn't recommend a long stay here due to the smells!

i booked this hotel, as myself and my partner were on a long road trip, and we just needed a place to crash for the night. We didn't need any "frills", as we were going to check-in late - we just wanted somewhere clean, and close proximity to the motorway... and that's exactly what we got. We booked in advance online for a discount on the regular room rate, and when we checked in, it was very straight forward. The lady on the front desk was a little pushy to try & get us to order breakfast for the following morning - 4 Euros 90 Cents per person. Basically its for pastries, coffee, and fruit juice, but as we were dining late, we never ended up trying breakfast there.. and to be honest I wasn't really interested to, especially after the lady was trying to get us to order it.

Aside from that, the place was modern, and clean. There was a microwave in the lobby for hotel guest use, alongside some overpriced vending machines. Our room was small but clean, and the bed was comfy. They have cable channels on TV but its pretty much all in French (well we were in France after all!).. It was also quiet there, so there was no disturbance from other guests, or any noise from traffic outside.

Withing 5 minutes walk of the hotel there are several restaurants to choose from for dining too. The hotel will try and entice you to go to their sister hotel the Campanile for dinner (they'll give you a 15% off dining voucher too) but in my opinion their dining option was over priced, as we had tried it the night before at a different location. A buffet that could cost you 23 Euros per person - and it's nothing fancy! The other eateries in the area were a lot more reasonable. We ended up dining at a Chinese restaurant across the street which was wonderful & inexpensive, but I'll save that for another review.

The hotel was within 5 minutes drive of a Carrefour hypermarket - great for stocking up on anything and everything, and it is right by the main access roads into Reims, and the main motorway running through France. I would recommend staying at this hotel, and I would definitely stay there again.

Tip: Book the hotel directly through accord hotels website - it's cheaper than going through a site such as Expedia.

We stopped here on Saturday 17th August which was a warm evening. There were four of us, including our two children and we had booked a room which supposedly accommodated four people. The room (compared to a Premiere Classe we had stopped in in Troyes a few nights earlier) was small, just enough room to get around the edge of the beds and the carpet was quite stained. However, the main draw back was the heat in the room, there is no air conditioning and so you have to have the window open and as this faces out over the car park, it was quite noisy throughout the night. Nevertheless, the checking in was very easy, the staff friendly and the reception area and other areas were clean and tidy, as was our bedroom and bathroom and the breakfast is good for the money. There is also a nice restaurant within the Campinile hotel, two mins walk away, with a 15% discount if you are a Premiere Classe resident.

Had an overnight stop here and it is perfect for this. Modern hotel, smallish but comfortable rooms and clean although could do with decoration freshening up.plenty of parking. Staff helpful and breakfast good. Location is brilliant for travellers, just off the motorway and near hypermarket with cheap petrol (credit card pumps only)No restaurant but got a voucher for discount at nearby hotel.and plenty of other eating places around. Not the prettiest setting but ok and felt safe walking around. Would not stay here for a period but perfect for travellers. Will be using it again. We had not pre-booked so paid 55E for 2 with breakfast, full rate. Family rooms very good value

We arrived late and found check-in to be easy. Our double room was tiny and like a sweat box. With no air conditioning and a 25 degree overnight temperature, it was very uncomfortable. We then saw insects crawling all over the ceiling and dropping on to the bed. We immediately left the room at 12.45am and asked to be moved. We were told the hotel was full and was not possible. We then said we would leave and wanted a full refund. The receptionist rang his manager and we were told we would have to claim our refund via Booking.com as we booked via them. (After subsequently checking with Booking.com - they advise the hotel should have sorted out the refund). We asked the receptionist to give us something in writing to say he agreed we should be refunded, but then, we were told he could find us a room. Whilst it was still hot and uncomfortable, there were at least no insects crawling around, so we stayed. This is a hotel I will definitely not be returning to.

I was generally satisfied with price/quality ratio, but there are some things they have to work on. It wasn´t pleasant to wait in a long queue at the reception always I needed even a small advice. There were problems with wifi password and it took a long time to solve it (partially language barrier as I spoke english).
Good parking in front of the hotel (big capacity) and easy accessible when you need just overnight stay on your road.

I always stop at Tinqueux when coming back from long trips into Europe and tried this place for the first time now. Located in the same place as many other budget hotels it's easy to find, close to the motorway, there's a restaurant (Chinese) opposite and around the corner is a Carrefour so you can stock up on beer/wine etc.

The hotel the cheapest available online and although the room is very small it was nicely done, so it doesn't have the feel of other cheap/nasty places. I didn't eat it (because of time) but breakfast looked great, especially considering it's only €5.

Will definitely use this place again.
