We first visited L'Estaminet last year (2011) and as we had enjoyed the food so much and received such good service were keen to return - we were not disappointed. Well placed on a bright and cheerful square L'Estaminet is a real find. Sitting between two much more staid (and expensive) restaurants it is welcoming and on the evenings we visited very busy and no wonder with such a simple well priced menu.
Over three separate visits our party of three enjoyed a good selection of meals from the menu including the Calamar, Entrecote, Americaine and the estaminet pizza - each time washed down with a cheeky little demi of local Catalan rose. Adding coffee and a little dessert may push your bill up to around 40e - great value. Owners Didier and Valerie are very friendly and can certainly cook up a storm. We will be back.
