I have just taken a party of 40 people to this hotel for a week. The food and service is first class and above a 3 star rating. Elodie & Raphael the young owners of this hotel cannot do enough to make you welcome and give you a great experience. They have gathered a fantastic team of people around them and the atmosphere of the hotel is friendly and vibrant. I can say this on behalf of all of my party..........the ALL loved it!

Room Tip: There are some rooms with balcony.

My wife and I went with a group so there was a set menu every night which was adequate without being sumptuous.
Our room was one of the better ones with a very large bathroom and a courtyard attached with a large table and six chairs - it was the envy of other guests.
The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable.
We would be happy to go back there and stay again if the occasion arose.

Room Tip: Try to get the one on the fourth floor with a courtyard - 401, Not noisy as it it is on the inside, but very airy because of the double doors leading to the veranda/courtyard.

Spent 4 nights here recently not expecting a great deal, but was pleasantly surprised by the very good food and the staff were really friendly and service excellent. The room we had was clean, nicely decorated. Bathroom probably needed an update from rather bizarre green but again was clean and functional. Altogether a very enjoyable place to stay.

A typical 3* French Hotel, with quirky rooms and plenty of character. Our room was fairly basic, but roomy and cleany. Large bathroom with bath and shower all in a "delicious" shade of green. We were on the fourth floor at the back over looking the church which was floodlit at night and gave plenty of atmosphere. No air conditioning.

The food, both table d'hote and a la carte was excellent and way above what you would expect for 3 stars. The reastaurant was full every night both with locals and tourists which must say something. There was a varied selection of wines and beers on offer. Breakfast had all the usual items, but it was the evening meals that were worth waiting for, and the coffee was excellent.

Our first visit and certainly wont be our last

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and probably the easiest check in ever.

Room Tip: Rooms on the fourth floor at the rear and fifth floor at the front may be a little hot at night.

Like several other reviewers we stayed here as part of a Treyn package group. Although listed as a 3 star the standard of food was at the very least to this standard; service, quantity and quality were all excellent. Our sole disappointment was the room - No 501 on the fifth floor. To be fair, it had all the basics but for a double room it was every much on the small size and every move had to be planned to avoid collision with one's partner. The room allocation seemed to have been somewhat haphazard- we heard that two single ladies had each had a room much bigger than ours.
But overall it was a very pleasant stay and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff could not be faulted.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms at the front overlooking the restaurant terrace and the main road.
