Just returned from the best week's skiing ever and that's after over 20 years of going to lots of different resorts and chalets / hotels / apartments.
There were 14 in our group and the chalet hosts - Chris, Ash and Trini absolutely made our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble from the minute we got up to a 5* breakfast, taking us all down to the lifts and then picking us up after apres ski every evening and bringing us back to a delicious gourmet dinner with unlimited wine. If wine isn't your thing then there was an honesty bar with beer and spirits was also available at very un-ski resort prices!! And they made us feel really at home, so much so that they are threatening to come and visit us at our local when the season finishes !!! :-).
The chalet was just perfect with no 'bad' rooms, meaning that even if you arrive last, you won't have any reason to be scared of getting the worst room (if your friends are like that!) because there simply isn't one.
All in all, the chalet was gorgeous, the food was outstanding, the hosts were wonderful, the location was great and to cap it all the snow was amazing. And that's before I even start on Morzine but there simply are too many good things to say and that's another story.....
Hope to see you in Mickleton Chris and Ash so we can return some of your hospitality xxx
