Have now stayed here on two separate occasions, From start to finish the accommodation, food and staff are Superb. Its location is brilliant for the lift up to avoriaz. In our summer stay we took some friends and they fell in love with it to, Great for mountain biking, local amenities like the pool is great! Again a fantastic experience for out whole family. Never a dull moment!

Stayed with Chilli Powder at the end of the 2011 Summer season and again late on over the 2011/12 Winter season.
Morzine in the Summer is fantastic. We did some downhill mountain biking in the Morzine and Les Gets area late Summer 2011 and It was Fantastic. I'm no pro down hill MTB or VVT expert but the area and advise from the Chilli Powder Staff was great. There are good hire shops in town and we hired out a couple of 'real' downhill bikes from a shop at the base of the Pleney slopes.

The main Chalet is very Welcoming and comfortable. The sauna and out door hot tub is a real 'boon' at the end of the day. Food was fantastic and the other guests in the Chalet were really nice folk to chat to about the days exploits.
During the Summer months it is probably best to have a car with you when staying with Chilli Powder (we drove from the UK) or pick up a hire car from GVA airpot. I say this as Chilli Powder is located up at the base of the Les Prodains Lift a couple of miles out of Morzine at the head of a valley. Is a lovely quiet location with a few other Hotels and chalets nearby.

We stayed with Chilli Powder again in Late April 2012 as the snow conditions this year were so good that we squeezed in a late end of season jaunt. During the Winter there is no need for a car, Indeed the location is fantastic for boarding/skiing as Prodains Lift is only approx 100mts away. This makes access up to Avoriaz and the rest of the Pds area very easy. There is a blue run down from Avoriaz to the Prodain Area so at the end of the day's riding we were able to board right down to more or less the back door of the chalet.
Again the staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic. The cosy little bar in the Chalet is a great place to rest those tired legs after a wonderful meal.

I'm hoping to Book one of their Chalets self catering later this summer for a couple of weeks. Thinking of loading up a Chalet Self catering with Family and Friends. This option looks very good value during the Summer and there is loads to do in the Area. Some of our group will be more active than others. My sisters and the Kids will no doubt enjoy the outdoor swimming pool in Morzine, pony trekking at Mointroid and a Bubble Lift up to the mountain restaurant at Pleney.
A few of the more active members in the group will do some hiking and hire out some downhill bikes. A BBQ and Hot tub at the Chalet at the end of the day sounds great.

Cant wait to get back out there.

Room Tip: Believe all the rooms are individual so best check with the Chilli Powder guys on that one

We recently took our kids skiing for our first family ski holiday and decided on chilly powder after a friends recommendation. It was a fantastic holiday and the kids wanted to stay another week!
The staff in the chalet were excellent and nothing seemed too much trouble.
I'm glad we chose Chilly over the other more well known ski companies, it was like a home from home. Kids and adults quickly made friends, the chalet is small enough that kids soon find their own way from room to dining/living area.
The nannies were all great with the kids and they were kept busy with ski lessons in the mornings and afternoons snow play, walks to chickens/horses, trips to town for ice-cream (it was hot!), painting, baking, etc.
The adults meal was a great standard and nice & relaxed, people didn;t really dress for dinner (I often went down in my socks!).
The kids meal at 5.30 was help yourself, lovely fresh homecooked food especially the puddings! Unfortunately the back up offer of pasta didn't go down well with my brood, but its very hard to please all.
Location couldnt be better, a short walk from the Avoriaz lift and 10mins on a free bus to the centre of Morzine. The ski area is huge, with lots of variety.

A word of warning pack travel sickness tablets, the road from Geneva is very twisty!

We will definitely return! Many thanks to Paul, Francesca & Nick.

Room Tip: The Toy room was perfect for us (2 adults, 3 kids). it has a double room with a seperate room upstai...

Chilly Powder is really amazing. I have tried to say this simply (in my previously rejected review) but for some reason trip advisor wish me to say more rejecting my first review for being too short even though it covered the main point which is that Chilly Powder is amazing and that the other responses fields are described as "optional". Bizarre.

Location. location. location is important when skiing and you really can ski to the back door or more acutely to the hot tub which is a magnet for the children after a day on the slopes and where they quickly make friends.

The social life for our one child (aged 9) is a key attraction as they get to mingle and make friends with over children around the chalet in a safe environment.

Food is simply excellent; the bar works well and the staff very friendly. Booked again for next year which says it all really.

Indeed going skiing with Chilly Powder is a very easy experience, unlike completing reviews for trip advisor.
