A lovely atmosphere if you can get a table inside, but if like us you failed to book and end up in the tent outside during a blizzard, then it is less cozy. The food is simple local and invariably good with surprisingly quick and friendly service given that this place is almost always packed and prices similar to other sit down mountain restaurants.
The restaurant is signposted from the Troncs chairlift if you are on skis. On foot it is possible to reach from the Nyon cable car with a gentle climb up the plateau beside the Raverettes chairlift.

We called in on the off chance at 1pm not knowing what to expect and found a small table for four available, but only till 2pm. The place was packed and the ladies serving were rushed off their feet, but we're nevertheless very pleasant. They advised us on which dishes were available in the limited time. My lasagne was nice, my daughters cheese soufflé went down well, but my husband and son waxed lyrical about the steak, both saying it was the best they had ever had. High praise indeed. We ate at a different restaurant each lunchtime during our recent week in Morzine, and all voted this the best.

We were recommended this place and was guided here by our hosts on a rainy january day. After 2 hours skiing in pouring rain, it was very nice to come into the warm and cozy atmosphere of Chez Nannon.

The food was excellent! I had the Cheese Souffle - yummy!

I will go back next time, for sure. The staff is so friendly and the food is excellent!

Every time we go to Morzine, this restaurant is a "must" for us - really important to book ahead, but well worth it! Their speciality is a frying pan dish of fried potatoes with reblochon cheese melted on top - minimum two people, but when it arrives, even the hungriest will be hard-pushed to finish! Really lovely staff, so friendly and welcoming. A really good choice for those who love meat too - open air barbeque where they cook sausages, steaks and all sorts! Quite expensive like everywhere else in the resort, but well worth the money!

Lovely staff, great portion Sausage and gratin potatoes. Wife had a lovely thick soup...served with cheese on the side...

great coffee too, i like that the mountain restaurants serve a jug of water which really helps on the mountains.

As expensive as other places. Nice to visit, good decor.

What looked amazing though we didn't try it they served a massive frying pan of potatoes and cheese with salad on the side. That looked brilliant, though you needed to hungry men to finish it. made me smile.
