For our wintersport we stayed in Hotel Fleur des Neiges. They succeeded in what no other ski-hotel we've ever stayed in France succeeded in: a nice lobby where people actually sat in front of the fireplace after skiing, of before or after dinner. The rooms looked really French Chalet style, with a lot of wood, so that was nice. We had a bathtub, which we enjoyed, because we thought the outdoor swimming pool was a bit cold after skiing a long day. But some people did enjoy the swimming pool. The sauna smelled a bit when we arrived, but was actually ok when we used it.

Dinners are tasty, very French and they're beautifully decorated. But it's a set menu, you can make some changes in the morning, but usually it was published after we left. One day the waiter noticed I didn't eat the union soup. So he arranged me a salad. The other day another waiter noticed I didn't eat the mushroom soup, but he did nothing. But I was also too modest to ask for something else. And, breakfast was very good. A lot of fresh and/or homemade stuff to choose from: fruits, fromage blanc, breads, jams and squeeze your own orange juice.

There is a shuttle service to the ski lifts. On the way back you can call them to pick you up. Since our native language and of most of the staff isn't English, that sometimes gave some confusion. But in the end, we always have been picked up. So, no worries! To walk to the center of Morzine, only takes a couple of minutes.

If we go back to Porte du Soleil, we would go back to Fleur des Neiges. So, we would recommend it. It was everything we needed for our ski holiday.

I stayed here for a week with a group of aproximately 50 people from our ski club. The hotel itslef is very cosy and clean. Our room was one of the large family rooms which provided plenty of space for our ski gear. It's a 10 minute walk to the gondola or you can catch a lift in by shuttle. The food was very good both in presentation and taste. David, Delphine and thier family were wonderful hosts that were very obliging. David arranged a guide for our group and even volunteered his time to come with us. There is a sauna and out door pool as well as a small games room, all in good working order. Our entire group was very happy with our accomodations and would recommend the hotel. *David arranged a guide for us named Quentin and he was excellent, I would higly recommend trying to hire him*.

If you are planning on a great ski vacation, you cannot get better than this. The location was in easy walking distance to either the Morzine gondola or Super Morzine to Avoriaz. The food was excellent, best ever for a ski trip. The accommodations were great, the rooms were more than adequate and plenty of hot water. The lodge itself was quaint (all wood) with a small bar. When required either Dave, Delphine drive the group where we wanted to go. The sauna was welcomed after an entire day of skiing. If I had one request, it would be to offer a larger variety of wine.

Stayed here very recently for a long summer weekend away having done the same last year. We were impressed with the hotel last time around in terms of quality and cost so booked up again. Location wise it is right where you want to be - five mins from the "main drag". David and his wife (sorry I have forgotten your name....) were great hosts and couldn't have been more helpful in terms of suggestions for walks and help with booking restaurants/excursions. We stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast was great. The room was fine, not five star but then you don't expect it to be for the price you are paying - comfy bed, plenty of space and a great shower. I would highly recommend staying here for both a summer holiday and skiing.

This is a great family run chalet ... Dave and Delphine went out of their way to make us welcome and the whole vibe is very relaxed and at the same time 100% professional. It's a bit of a walk from downtown but that's a minor niggle. Having stayed at several other chalets in the area, I must say the people really make or break the experience and it doesn't get better than Fleur des Neiges in that regard.

This is a fantastic, friendly and family-run hotel! We've stayed there 3 times now and can't imagine staying anywhere else in Morzine!

David & Delphine really make it - they're polite, friendly and go out of their way to help you. The food is really very good - lots of it and really good quality. The hotel has a great atmosphere and good facilities, including swimming pool and sauna. Has a great little bar too where David is more than willing to pull you a nice cold beer!

You must stay here.......but don't tell too many people though - we selfishly don't want it to be booked up for when we next visit!

We stayed here in July whilst mountain biking in Morzine. The hotel is well located, clean, friendly and run brilliantly. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Food wise, breakfast is great with a selection of pastries, cereal, fruits, breads, meats and cheeses. Dinner is a four course epic of fantastic food!

Rooms were clean and tidy and more than adequate for our needs.

We very much enjoyed having a beer in the bar at the end of the day. David and Delphine who run the hotel with the help of their daughter are so friendly and welcoming we didn't want to leave!

We'll definitely be going back.
