“You can't beat the location or the staff.”

The only reason I can't give it a 5 is that as the hotel is quite old, the sound proofing isn't great. If you end up in a room next to a group of lads who come in at 4.00am every morning.....

The staff did their best to deal with it and took my complaint seriously but it was still a bit of a problem.

And please light the fire in the lounge! It would finish the experience off wonderfully.

Would we go back? Definitely.

Room Tip: Facing the slopes is worth paying extra for.

We stayed for 3 nights from the 31st January, the hotel is in a fantastic position, and the rooms are clean and quiet. We were on the first floor in a triple room, there was plenty of storage for the 3 of us. The staff at the front desk were fantastic, very helpful, will always stay here when i come to Morzine in future!!

Firstly the location is excellent. Right at the bottom of a red run (and blue run) at the Pleney gondola so for ski out and ski in access it's just perfect. It's also an easy walk into the village of Morzine.

The staff make a big difference to the hotel. All are attentive and very helpful. I agree with other reviews that nothing seems to much trouble here.

The bedrooms are OK. I would say your typical Alpes hotel style. Comfy warm and adequate. If I was being critical I would say small and a bit cramped. But let's get it into perspective it's all you need for a ski holiday. Somewhere to sleep and freshen up. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy so just what you need.

The bar of the hotel is a lively après ski bar with disco music and a lively crowd most nights. It's a great place to hang out and enjoy a drink. Although due to its popularity get there early if you want a table and to rest those tired legs.

They do food in the morning through to 3pm and then drinks only. We eat lunch at the hotel everyday. The food was excellent and it was obvious the lumch is popular as many ski instructors took their lunch at the hotel.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here a lot. Great service, great location, great après ski bar and excellent food for lunch. I highly recommend.

For the second year in a row a group of 35 of us stayed at Le Tremplin.
Christophe at reception is an absolute darling and nothing is too much trouble for him and he always has a smile on his face. The location of the hotel is fantastic. The rooms are "bijou" but extremely clean and to be honest we didn't spend much time in the rooms so the size didn't really matter. There's a huge choice for breakfast with something to suit everyone.
The only issue with the hotel is the wifi. It is only available in the reception area and 95% of the time it didn't work.
Will definitely look to go back next year.

Our first holiday without children in 13 years. The hotel was all very clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and always available.
Bedrooms plenty big enough for a weekend break. Beds comfortable, bathrooms clean. Apres ski in the Hotel bar is between 4-7.30pm daily, and to be honest, the noise was terrible, as alternate nights was a very loud discoteque, which in a room above the bar terrace meant we couldnt even hold a conversation in our room. However, you could escape it by going down to the residents lounge for a quieter Apres ski chill out. Loud music was always over by 7.30pm
Breakfast was faultless. good choice of continental fare, with hot bread, hard boiled eggs, fruit, and endless supplies of tea and coffee.
Location is great for skiers, straight out the door into a Gondola, though if you are after a quiet relaxing lie down after a hard days skiing, this might not be the place for you.
iI would certainly stay there again for a weekend break.

Have just returned from 4 nights at Hotel Le Tremplin. I was slightly worried by some of the reviews but had worried needlessly. Yes, the rooms are small and myself and my friend shared a room with only a curtain between bedroom and bathroom but hey it made us smile. The staff were great very helpful and friendly and made us feel completely at home. Location is fabulous and at the end of the day that is what you are paying for. Would definitely return.

Having just guided a large group of demanding folks to a long weekend in the hotel Tremplin, we were warmly welcomed and the service was attentive but unobtrusive. The manager was very flexible to our changing demands including shifting furniture around to avoid the apres ski boom-box outside and although the decor is typical of many French hotels of this era, the convenience to amenities in Morzine and the ski-lifts more than compensates for any lack of high end luxury comforts.

Room Tip: Face the slopes for late night peace. Face the town or apres ski peace!
