This is a fantastic micro brewery come bar. Very quirky interior, demolition meets deconstructivism. You need to visit to appreciate what it looks like. Proper tasting real ale, bought in a jug best if more than two people. Food is good but expensive as in all ski resorts.Well worth a visit. Best deal, jug of beer and nachos for €20.

Stumbled across this bar/restaurant by accident whilst on a recent skiing trip to Morzine. What an absolutely fantastic place! Brilliant beer brewed on the premises by one of the two owners. What a delight to have some really top rate Englsh ales on tap. the Pale Ale, IPA, porter and stout are all first class. The staff are happy for you to sample all of them before you make your choice. We had many picthers, combined with plates of the excellent Nachos ( complete with home made salsa!!). The 2 owners deserve to succeed as they've taken a chance and have come up trumps with a top class idea for something different which is also top quality.

Also sampled the pulled pork buns and scoth eggs, again scrummy!! The homemade tomato sauce was sensational. give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Visited Bec Jaune on recommendation as I don't think they have a website.I don't tend to drink beer but sampled some and it was smooth and light. The pitcher of ale we had came with either nachos or chicken wings which were great. The home made scotch eggs and giant hand cut chips were a revelation.I loved the veggie burger with (I'd guess ) homemade brioche bun. This food is what pub food should be .i loved every minute of it .The feel of the place is eclectic and retro and seems like an evolving work in progress.Go visit !

I'd heard about Bec Jaune brewery and it was like a part of England had been dropped into the heart of Morzine.

The light ale tasted nothing like the 2.7% ticket, really refreshing and a great taste. Friends had the RyePA which also went down well. A stronger Porter was on tap too.

We had just eaten so didn't sample the food, but the scotch eggs and chicken wings looked really tempting.

Inside was quite busy when we arrived (21:30) so it might pay to arrive earlier in order to get a table indoors. Not sure if reservations are accepted for food.

Frequented by locals and visitors alike the food and beer at “Le Bec” (as the locals call it) is made with heart and is just that, hearty, perfect for a relaxed evening after a day in the great outdoors.

The uber cool, stripped back (Industrial meets Alps) design, that one often associates with the trendiest parts of East London, is matched with the warm welcome of a village local. There are lots of innovative and personal touches that reflect owners that have a passion for what they create and cherish how that fits into the local. Bike spoke lights, ski binding coat hooks, button lift foot rest around the bar. The bar lights are even made from recycled beer bottles.

The Brewmaster, Chrigl, gave us a run-down of all the beers they were currently creating (The giant shiny tanks are in themselves a sight in itself to behold!) He recommended beers to suit our taste. For me, normally that taste doesn’t include Ale but I am so glad I tried it. Perhaps it was the knowledge of the craftsmanship that went into the beer or the accompanying pulled pork bun (not to be missed!) but it was wonderful.
