Had a lovely two night stay here while attending a friends wedding. Beautiful location, friendly staff, stunning views.

Room was small but all I needed, nice powerful shower and spotless bathroom. Towels changed and bed made after first night which was a pleasant surprise

Breakfast was spot on too, nice mix of English and continental.

What a gem! We were looking for a cheeky little 5 day ski break in Morzine & found Hotel Le Grand Tetras on Booking.com. We normally stay as a large group in a Catered Chalet but as there were just 2 of us we decided to look for a small family run hotel & we are so glad we did! We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived by Cyril, Mariona & all of the staff, nothing was too much trouble.
The food was plentiful & delicious & the wine was really good too.
We stayed in room 5 which was very clean & we had great views from our balcony.
We would definitely like to return & would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful little hotel!

We visited in March for a mid week works ski trip. Cyril and his family were amazing. The rooms were great, and the food was out of this world. We were made to feel so at home. As a large group we had planned to go to the bars in town on the evening but we didn't bother in the end as the bar and cocktails here were far better than in town. We have already booked for next season. Only problem is that even more people want to come next time!

Thank you Cyril and Mariana!
We chose the hotel based on reviews and were not disappointed. We booked a week to ski locally. Ignore booking.com and go direct. Great English! The response went to junk and I missed out!!
We drove and had a car parking space all week. The end of season meant plenty of space and could recommend second floor rooms with balcony. Rooms were more spacious than on most of our ski holidays over very many years! Breakfast was plentiful if lacking variety. So, choose variety yourself- eggs on day, hot brekky another, fruit, yoghurt and croissant another. You get the idea!
Staff were all great! Very friendly, nothing too much trouble. My 60th passed in fine style! Food was excellent in the evenings and the team were happy to accommodate other needs if main course was not to your liking. Often drank in the bar, on the patio and just chilled on return.
Skiing- due to massive bout of sunny weather the late season snow had gone on lower slopes. We did ski to bottom in Les Gets for a laugh. Small brown track across fields!!
But, skiing on La Ranfolly, Point de Nyon, Chamoussiere and in Avoriaz was excellent particularly prior to around 1330.
Really impressed. Great family hotel which could easily merit more stars.

Room Tip: 215, 216,217- all have access to large balcony and some great views

This is our second time my family have stayed at Le Grand Tetras and it definitely won't be our last we all love it and this year a few friends came with us. Cyril, his wife and staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent specially the tartiflette which was delicious. Great breakfast before heading off to the slopes which we catch the bus at the bottom of the slope which is quite steep and hard work to be honest but worth it as the hotel is so good. It's a shame there isn't a shuttle mini van from the hotel this would make it perfect! All in all a fab hotel and we will be back next year!
