Stayed at The Rhodos hotel whilst mountain biking in Morzine and, to be honest, chose it because of its central location and price so wasn't expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised. The staff are really friendly, the rooms are clean with a good shower and nice balcony and a secure place to lock the bikes up (although take some ear plugs if visiting in the spring/summer as the river that runs outside can get quite noisy whilst trying to sleep at night). The bar is a really good place to chill after a busy day or equally good when wanting to watch any sporting events (the wimbledon final was on when we were there) and the food was superb. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed at the Rhodos hotel four days for the 2012 passportes Mountain bike event and we loved the place. It is a very friendly spot with a really good atmosphere night and day, nothing is too much trouble for the staff; they really do look after you in every way. The room was comfy and very well presented with a freshly decorated concept feel, balcony view was quite good too. Secure bike storage is perfect and the food is spot on. (Try tackling a burger!) We most definitely will be returning next year. So if you’re staying in Morzine look no further and Enjoy,
Dean & John, Wakefield, England.

Room Tip: Room 2 was real good for the view or any overlooking the main street

Great place to watch a game and have a few beers. Good TVs, comfortable, very good selection of beers (some nice English ales available). Restaurant food awful though - typical tourist tat. Standard menu, poorly executed. Ordered steak and Roquefort sauce. Steak was adequate, Roquefort sauce was dreadful: looked and tasted like bisto gravy with a vague whiff of Roquefort (pic attached). sent it back only for it to return with even more Roquefort sauce, the (admitedly very charming and apologetic) waitress explaining that it was the "chef's special recipe". Mmm. Booming techno music added little to the ambience.

As mentioned, great for watching sport and having a few beers (less grubby than Dixies beside it) but might be best steering clear of the food.

This was a long ski-weekend on a budget and Morzinelets whom we booked through made it very easy and cost effective. Half-board + ski-pass +ski-hire and transfers all taken care of.

The hotel is at the bottom of a hill, and there is a bus stop to Morzine and Avoriaz on the corner. Rooms are basic, and very small, but clean. Plenty of hot water. Good view towards the mountains.

Half-board included breakfast and supper. Breakfast was spartan - cereal and croissants and baguette with coffee and orange juice. Supper was of a good quality and they were able to cater for special meal requests. Only negative was that it was served between 18:30 to 19:00 whereas I would have preferred to eat later.

Bar is lively and open to 02:00, but rooms didn't suffer from any noise.

Overall, it's a good budget hotel.

Room Tip: Choose mountain facing rooms. Doubles in the attic are very small, especially for 2 people.

For the price, given the location in the centre of Morzine I'd say it was just fine. It's not fancy, but the beds are comfy and it's clean. It's not that quiet as it's in the town centre. As with much ski accomodation the rooms are small and relatively expensive but during ski season everywhere is the same. Our room was very clean, staff friendly, professional and accomodating and the transfers worked very smoothly which we were thrilled by especially as our transfer from Geneva to Morzine left early as it was only us on it so we could be on the slopes on time.

We were half board - no food choices but the food is excellent, and the wine is well priced. The only thing I would say is breakfast could do with some porridge, but the croissants and bread were very fresh,

With skiing trips, you get what you pay for and in a market largely catering to Sat-Sat or Sun-Sun trade this was really good.

Room Tip: If you have advance notice worth checking with the hotel for what floor rooms are on, there can be a...

For the price paid I would expect more. Breakfast consisted of Bread & Croisant, Tea or coffee,
Orange juice. Dinner was OK. Waste bin in bathroom not emptied all week, towels left in shower required to be changed were not removed from bathroom but left hanging over radiator with no replecements in sight. Bathroom was not swept for the whole week. For two days the beds were not even made! I would not be recomending this establishment.

I booked this hotel v last minute as it was the only room showing as available for my dates! Not the way I normally book I must say.
So, my expectations were very low. What a pleasant surprise I had when I pulled up and walked in. Check in was at the bar, which had a chilled out atmosphere and great, huge plates of food were being served to tables. A good start, the girl at the bar insisted on carrying my bag up 4 flights of stairs!!! Above and beyond the call of service.
The room was a typical ski room, neat, small, hard beds, basic overall. But that's skiing accommodation. I'm always so tired I don't really care....tho hope one day, some hotel surprises me with a comfy bed and pillow!
En-suite was tiny, but had everything I needed and French doors opened to a lrge balcony.
Half board was included and the food was fantastic, another nice surprise!
Also great location in the old town.
I will stay here again.
