We had a fantastic stay at chalet chambertin, emma at mountain mavericks was really helpful in booking this last minute break. Transfers were on time, door step ski came to the chalet and delivered our skis, emma had our ski passes for us. Freddie and Rachel had the most wonderful cakes waiting for us and were fantastic cooks - we were throughly spoilt with their cooking. Bethan our chalet host looked after us really well. We were woken up with cups of tea and more importantly brought out the bubbly to our hot tub! The skiing was great. Everything was perfect - I couldn't recommend this chalet and the mountain mavericks team enough. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to return. Freddie and Rachel if you are cooking again next year, forget the skiing we are coming back just for the food! Thanks again.

We were greeted at the airport by a guy that looked a like Jesus, but apperances were the least of his problems, the 1:30hour journey to the chalet was worst than a roller coaster, and putting up with his sarcastic comments was enough to make me feel ill, however once we got to the chalet there was champagne and sushi, which was prepared by a fantastic chef due, Freddie and Rachael who prepared AMAZING food all week, the ski hire shop was fantastic, they came straight to our door, the following day we then had to step back into the 'death trap' and we were escourted to the chair lifts of our choice, and had a great days skiing. Once again I enjoyed a delicous afternoon tea, and a dip in the hot tub, the quality of our stay detieriated througout the week, for example; we had to wait outside for 10mins whilst waiting for the car to pick us up from the bar because the driver was watching the rugby, we also found ourselves loading our ski's into the car because the driver would be smoking infront of us whilst watching us load up, this is not what i would expect from somebody that claims he has ran 2 chalets in Austria, one of them having 47 bedrooms, I would probably class that as a hotel myself, which does make me wonder. On day 3 we had the manager 'Ollie' driving for us, but we also had his baby in the car with us, and had to drop her off at the cresh on the way to the slopes, which delayed our start... I do not know weather it is in fashion at the moment to look scruffy or not? but he did not look suitably dressed to be a manager. When we departed this morning we overhead the driver talking to Ollie about us, saying "they a messing about, but I will try and get them to hurry up, wish me luck!" even though we were ready on time and had a very nice friend who carried our bags down the stairs and put them in the car for us, whilst the driver was yet again smoking.

Thankyou so much to Freddie, Rachael and Bethan who made our stay amazing! catering for our every need.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review Chalet Chambertin and we are delighted that you really enjoyed your week spent with us, all the staff at the chalet work very hard to make sure you experience the best holiday.

There are a couple of issues that you have mentioned in your review that we could have addressed with in resort if you or your Mum and Dad had mentioned it to us. We would love to have the opportunity to talk to you or your parents further so please do get in touch on thechalet@mountainmavericks.com or call on 0844 484 3530.

Many thanks once again Max and we shall look forward to talking to you,

What an awesome holiday not only did with have huge amounts of snow and amazing weather, we had well made food smiling staff and a very comfy bed. . . after hitting the mountain hard with the fantastic guides finding all the great powder we happily relaxed in the hot tub relieving the days aches while the smiling staff bought us "plastic" glasses of bubbles, followed by wonderfully cooked home made food by the super talented Freddy and Rachael and the obligatory cheeky comments from jamie. . .
Had a great time, met lots of very cool people and got to snowboard every day what more could you want thanks mountain mavericks x

I'm seriously at risk of repeating myself, having just returned from another great few days with Mountain Mavericks! This was our second stay in Chalet Chambertin, and fifth overall visit to Mountain Mavericks, having stayed three times in their Chalet Le Prele.
Everything was up to the usual high standard we've come to love from Emma and Olly and their team. Freddie and Rachel are great hosts and chefs, food was lovely especially the Eggs Benedict at breakfast, and the cakes at tea time! Food at dinner was three filling courses and cheese, with a much better than your average chalet wine selection too. The guiding and lifts to and from the slopes by Jamie and Olly were also excellent as usual, and beats getting the bus at the end of a long day!!
Chalet Chambertin has gained a hot tub since our last stay (dressing gowns and slippers provided), which is lovely for easing aches and pains at the end of the day with a glass of wine or two!
There is so much more that the MM service offers than there is room to write here (hire skis and boots can be brought to the chalet, lift passes and lessons arranged, TV room, DVDs and games, sauna, honesty bar, the list is endless!). As Morzine and Mountain Mavericks regulars we will definitely be back next year!!!

An absolutely brilliant week with friends. We had a great weeks skiing and the chalet is superb. Everything was organised in terms of room sharing by the staff in advance and worked excellently.

The food all week was absolutely superb and the daily home made cakes were to die for! The staff being chefs Freddie and Rachel, driver and ski guide Jamie and chalet maid Alice couldn't do enough for us and we really felt that they were an integral part of our group by the end of the week? Thank you all! We loved it and having stopped talking about what a great time we had!

We stayed at Chalet Chambertin for 4 nights at the start of the season. Jamie (the chalet driver) was waiting for us at the airport when we arrived for a smooth transfer. The chalet is beautiful with the kitchen, dining room, sauna and DVD/games room downstairs and seven bedrooms upstairs around a cosy living room with fire. Our room was gorgeous and had the added luxury of fancy L'Occitaine toiletries and dressing gowns for us to use. The shower in the ensuite bathroom was nice and powerful with plenty of hot water to use throughout the day and the beds were nice and comfy for a good nights sleep. There is also an outdoor hot tub, though we didn't brave the cold.

We were woken up by Alice the chalet host with a hot drink in the morning for a great start to the day. Breakfast was served between 8 and 9am. This leads us on to the food...The food was amazing, cooked by the lovely Freddie and Rachel... For breakfast there was cereals and warm croissants with a selection of jams. We were also offered porridge and a hot option. The eggs benedict were delicious! Cakes were provided after a day on the mountain which I couldn't believe were homemade, they were so good. The four course meals in the evening were stunning, to restaurant quality, and included wine and a different cheese (with excellent description!) every night. The welcome canapes with champagne were also a treat too.

The chalet is about a 10-15 minute drive to the Prodains lifts. The Nyon lift is probably about a 5 minute drive but this wasn't open during our stay. Jamie was on hand to give us a lift in the morning and in the afternoon but there's also a free shuttle bus that runs every hour right outside the chalet. Morzine centre is about a 10 minute drive, 40 minute walk away. One of our days the mountain was closed due to a winter storm but the chalet hosts looked after us and the DVDs kept us entertained.

Chalet Chambertin is definitely the nicest chalet we've stayed in and by far the best food we have eaten. The chalet hosts were absolutely lovely and we felt right at home. The only downside we felt was the location, only because the lifts were not within walking distance. However, we would definitely stay at this chalet again.

We booked in for a late Easter break with the family ( our first experience of a catered ski accomodation ) in mid April 2011.
It was a fantastic experience with Olly & Emma running a personal focused enterprise.
We enjoyed the chalet , hosts , driver ( Jamie ) and inside ski knowledge provided .
The boys enjoyed the games room and stream across the road.
A memorable evening star-gazing from the outside hot tub...

Highly recomended , one of my work colleagues booked for this winter on my recommendation .
