10 Blokes, 40 and over, egotistical, opinionated, craggy and p... heads.....what a great holiday!
Mike, (chef) great chef...maybe too much brioche, but the boy can cook, and he can cook a cake every day for tea...very good work!
Claire (chalet girl) pleasant, informative and chatty...top marks...Tori...was great whilst she was there, she skived off to a wedding so she gets away with it...Stevie...the smiler...cant mention on here, but lovely fella..and Chris "situation" was fantastically organised!
All in all i cant say a bad word...looked after brilliantly...Emma was also great, very accommodating helped out with my crap skiing...
Well done guys

I've stayed at Chalet Chambertin many times now and they never fail to impress. The chalet is always spotless and the staff cant do enough to help you. The chalet is equiped with everything you need, be that the jacuzzi, a very comfortable lounge with an extensive collection of books and separate TV area with an equally extensive dvd colletion.
A specific mention needs to be made about the quality of the food; its exceptional.

15 family members all under one roof could be a recipe for disaster but we all agree it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. This was due to a combination of things:- lovely family friendly chalet, excellent chalet staff, wonderful food - morning, noon and night, great organisation of equipment hire and ski hire by Mountain Mavericks and lots of snow!
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left nothing was ever too much trouble. The chalet staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to help with any questions we may have had. As a first time skier I would recommend Morzine every time. I now have 'the bug' and would love to go back very soon! Cannot praise Chalet Chambertin, Mountain Mavericks or Morzine highly enough.

Not as good as we were hoping the holiday would be, after my family had already had a wonderful holiday at Le Prele with Mountain Mavericks, with excellent food and a cosy chalet.
This time we were a party of 11, with 4 children, so the chalet was far from full. We chose chalet Chambertin as it was MM's best chalet, for the cost of this holiday it wasn't as good as other companies we have been with.
There were very disappointing things such as the downstairs toilet being out of use all week due to the seat needing replacing, this was replaced on our last day! The sauna was also out of use all week, not sure why. The lighting in the lounge was dim and the main lighting had no bulbs in because they couldn't find the right bulbs! But they couldn't be bothered to change the light fitting! This made it difficult to play some games, and read. They obviously didnt see this was an issue
The food was ok, but not as per the typical menu on their website and of a far inferior quality to other chalets we have visited which have not purported to offer such standards and it was also served late a few times. The cake for afternoon tea was usually the same basic cake mix with different additions, although the white chocolate and raspberry one was delicious. We also did have mince pies one day. The breakfast was poor, certainly never had eggs benedict, as per website menu example. We had poached eggs, pancakes, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, frittata but on the last day we did have a full fry up. There were croissants and pain au chocolate every morning but these were cooked frozen ones, which were not great. Why not get fresh ones from the bakers along with the bread? On the staff day off we found some delicious brown bread in the bread bag, which had been delivered each day to the chalet, they said that it was supposedly for the cheese board, but we never saw it. We did see it after that.
As I am disabled we specifically said before booking the holiday that we needed the transport offered but on the transfer days they then said that transport was going to be difficult, which was not great.
We were very disappointed with the lack of local knowledge and the consistency of the chalet staff during our stay but they were always very pleasant and tried hard to help us with everything they were asked to do, but they seemed to be less experienced than they should have been for the level of the holiday.
On the plus side the chalet was warm, lots of hot water, although the pressure did drop when a few people were using hot water, a good bar, nice wine, collection to and from the airport went very well and so on but all the things like that should always be expected these days with good companies. And of course the bed sheets were very good, best quality long staple Egyptian cotton!
We were caught out with the UK style 3 pin plugs that are throughout the living room and the bedroom floor because we brought our French plug. So it is great that you can bring all your UK appliances without adapters.
Because Ollie and Emma have recently bought a hotel in Morzine have they taken their eye off the chalets? This is a shame because the last time my family went with MMs to Le Prele and they had a very good holiday, this was a cheaper chalet but the food was far better with Dean as the chef and there were no other problems.

My husband, friends and I had a wonderful time at chambertin this year, as always. Thank you so much to Bethan and Chris our hosts, and our fantastic chefs Freddie and Rachel, you made our stay so perfect. The chalet is absolute luxury, with a hot tub and sauna on site, we also had a fabulous hot stone massage in our room. Thank you to Emma, Olly and the team, can't wait to see you again soon!

Arrived home last Sunday from our 3rd visit to Chambertin in 4 years. We like Morzine, the transfers are easy, plenty of blue slopes, and most of all we have always been looked after well by Emma, Ollie and their team. The chalet is comfortable and the food fantastic.
We have previously taken the family, this time we took friends and would not hesitate to recommend Chambertin to anyone.

This was my first chalet experience and I am now a convert, it was fantastic. The chalet was cozy and inviting, the staff amazing and the food to die for, etter than most restaurants I have been to. I would not hestiate to recommend Chambertin to my family and friends thinking of taking a trip to Morzine.
