Great food in a lovely atmosphere. The setting was amazing and the art in the restaurant was worth the visit alone. The meal was lovely, a bit expensive but worth it for the unsual food presentation. Worth a visit!

We hadn't looked at the reviews on here prior to our visit to this restaurant, it was recommended to us. No reservation but that wasn't a problem, can't fault the service or the food. The wine possibly wasnt quite cool enough initally but a ice bag was brought to the table which cooled it down within minutes. Would recommend & visit again.

Went here for lunch yesterday had to wait 10 minutes for a table but it was worth the wait the place was extreme busy. I got the sea bass, the presentation of the food on the plate was a piece of art and the balance of flavours around the plate was mouth watering!!!

Warm white wine, offered ice rather than the right response. slooow service with a number of "sorry's". The staff are friendly enough but this is the third time in two years that we have had issues with the service, which is a shame as the food is quite good, but not as good as it could be. A real shame as we are property owners who entertain a lot and would love to love this restaurant. Why are you using a photo of the CDC, which although owned by la Chamade has excellent service

Sorry three strikes and your out

We'd tried it twice on previous visits with mixed results but thought we'd give another go as it has great potential and somewhere out back there is a great chef struggling to get noticed but they really let themselves down this time. The cozy alcove they gave our party of seven was sweltering. When we eventually got home there was a race to the showers as nobody wanted to go to bed drenched in sweat. There was also a fight over the washing machine as everyone's clothes smelled of cooking fat and we weren't even sitting that close to the kitchen. Our young waiter clearly hadn't taken a bath in days and hadn't heard of deodorant. Either that or he just put the same shirt on day after day. One has to have some sympathy given the Sahara-like temperature of his workplace. Not only did the first bottle of white wine arrive warm, and I mean above-room temperature, so did the second and third, despite our complaints and repeated requests for ice-cubes. The food took forever to arrive - three hours from the point of ordering - and my chicken breast was stone cold which is ironic since the smelly waiter warned me not to touch the plate with my bare hands as it was extremely hot. Through all of this we didn't receive one apologetic visit from the maitre'd who seemed petrified of moving more than six feet from her podium. Fear of lynching I expect. The rest of my party eventually enjoyed a nicely presented meal but it really wasn't worth the pain and suffering we endured to get there. Oh, and it was expensive into the bargain.
