“Delightful!”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

Conveniently located on the way to the rainforest, they offer souvenirs of all sorts and lots of Caribbean spices and sauces, including an amazing salsa. Samples of all are available. There are also coffees and teas to sample and purchase. Small but worth a stop.

“Authentic souvenirs...finally found a shop!!”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

Karla was very helpful in guiding us to authentic products. Coffee, sauces, spices, soaps, lotions, local art, hand designed t-shirts. So many choices with an excellent knowledgeable staff. Many of the products are made on site. Right outside of rain forest. So glad to find a shop that was not cheaply made in china products. Loved this place!

“Expensive but nice”
Reviewed 4 April 2014

Yes, it's true. The staff is very helpful and they have a wide variety of souvenirs including jerk marinade, hot sauces, cigars, liquor, t-shirts, figurines, etc. Karla was very happy to let us taste their hot sauces. She is very knowledgeable about how everything is made by them from scratch. But here's the downside - it's expensive. We bought a jar of jerk marinade, one hot sauce, a whistle, key chain, jar of mango salsa, and a $8.50 cigar. Total price: $49 with tax. Ouch. I asked about the Don Q Rum with coconut for pina colada's, Price $24. I bought the same bottle in Old San Juan later that day for $18.

“Karla was fabulous!”
Reviewed 30 March 2014

We ended our visit to the rain forest with a stop at Caribbean Trading Co. They make their own spices and sauces. What a unique souvenir to bring back home. My daughter and I purchased two sea glass bracelets that are very lovely. Karla was very helpful and kind. We enjoyed our shipping experience and would recommend it for all.
