A lovely location with access to the Wye river, forest and nice walks. It is a family campsite now run by Sarah, previously by her parents, and retains that feeling. The campsite is kept spacious, and is well provisioned, with two toilets and a shower for a single field. Above all Sarah was kind throughout our stay, offering advice on the local area, letting us borrow freezer packs so our food would stay cold, and posting a frying pan handle that was left at the washing up station. There are also some very sweet ducks that roam the campsite, which is an added bonus. I'd recommend this campsite to anyone visiting the Wye Valley!

Room Tip: It's a campsite, but bottom right corner has good views of the valley through the crook of...

We stayed here this weekend in the Willow suite.

Rosie met us on arrival and was very warm and welcoming. This continued throughout and she was very accommodating when we had a last minute breakfast change of plans on the first morning of our stay.

The house and grounds here are absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the house however there is a separate lodge which is secluded and has fields with horses behind. The house and grounds here are off the road so it does feel secluded and very private. There is a path way to the golf course for a nice walk out behind the house for a walk further afield. We loved walking through the garden and seeing the rope swing on the tree. Small stream and all the lovely flowers planted around. There are lots of small details in this home and gardens that just make it really special.

The room was lovely. The bed is an antique French bed and it has a roll top bath adjacent. There is a separate shower room and separate wc. Everything from the room, breakfast, grounds and house are truly special.

We can’t wait to book our next stay on our next visit to Bath!

We had a lovely two night stay here. Huge, comfy bed and a lovely view over the fields. Breakfast in the morning was great. Cereal, croissants, fresh fruit, yoghurt and cooked options. Bradford on Avon is a great location and would love to visit again.

After a few stressful months we needed a relaxing stay somewhere and Cherry Orchard Farm provided this from the start.
Rosie welcomed us and directed us to the beautiful Willow Suite. With the gorgeous claw feet bath in front of the curved window, with a view of the garden, we settled in. The bed was super comfy and we slept like the proverbial log.
A lovely breakfast the next morning was a welcome sight. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, a variety of cereals, croissants, toast then a cooked breakfast - to keep you going all day (at least until afternoon tea time at one of the many tea rooms in the surrounding area!!!).
We got to know the pussycat and Baxter. Talking of Baxter - he does bark quite a lot BUT he's a dog, doing dog things as he should, protecting Rosie and their property (he is also very handsome❤).
We walked to Cumberwell golf course and booked a couple of tee times. On one of the evenings we took a bottle of wine and a couple of glasses up to the lake to watch the sunset.........and golfers gracefully hitting their golf balls onto the waiting green...... or plopping them into the water!
Rosie is a special person, we hope to go back to Cherry Orchard Farm soon.

Room tip: Get to know where you can let traffic pass on the lane to the farm😉

We stayed for a night in this lovely corner of the Wye Valley while walking from Chepstow to Monmouth. Sarah is a great host and the campsite is well equipped and incredibly peaceful. Not far from some good pubs and great walking, too

A regular to this site over recent years, it was a joy to be back again this June. Good weather helps but it's the peaceful setting and relaxed camping style we love. Facilities are clean and well presented. A shower and toilet for campers use is situated next to the farmhouse and a further toilet is at the other end of the field. Water points are liberally available, as are refuse bins. There is also a new area where campers can wash up crockery etc if required. The resident ducks are real characters and fun to watch throughout the day. The owners are running a relaxed but ordered ship, no huge rule book, just quiet, tidy campers appreciated. Our host also checked on us from time to time, to ensure all was well, which is a nice touch. Plenty of space is given to each pitch, allowing room for vehicles alongside. The Ostrich Inn is a 10 minute stroll from the Campsite and a 35 minute stroll downhill, brings you to The Boat at Penallt (overlooking river Wye). The pretty town of Monmouth is also only a 15 minute drive away. We hope to be back again very soon.
