What a lovely way to spend our 29th wedding anniversary!
Lovely, cosy cottage with a welcome of fruit and the essentials and a nice welcome card and flowers from Lorraine who also took the time to come to say hello in person.
Very quiet and peaceful and ideal for a few days away from it all.
Beautiful countryside and friendly neighbours (including several sheep!!)
Hope to visit again in the not-too distant future.
Not only pet friendly and in a great location with Forest of Dean just on your doorstep, the Old Dairy is a great cottage, well equipped and with high quality finishes. Incredibly comfortable sofa and bed - exactly what you need after your long walks through the forest :)
Although we actually never met the owners, we felt welcomed into their space from the very beginning. Our two dogs loved it as well, however I have to say it was a brave choice to have a white rug in a dog friendly cottage, they thought it was a very comfortable one though.
Bottom line the Old Dairy Holliday Cottage is ideal for a nice break to just relax and enjoy or surrounding. Would definitely come back and recommend it.
Wonderful dog friendly cottage set in beautiful surroundings. Cottage is really comfortable and so well equipped. Peaceful and relaxing holiday.
A bright, welcoming, well equipped and very comfortable cottage which has been finished to an extremely high standard and is set amongst outstanding countryside and with amazing views towards the Forest of Dean and the Severn Valley. It is the perfect place for a relaxing quiet break - with plenty of places for walks with your dog (especially in the Forest itself) and is also within easy access to places eg Lydney, Monmouth, Ross on Wye and Symond's Yat for trips out and about.
If your looking for a quiet place for 2 with mans best friend then this barn conversion is great, well laid out and comfortable, located down a quiet country lane with off road parking.
Good walks in the woods to the rear of the property and check out Harts Farm barn for a great breakfast and afternoon cakes!
Lots to do within 20 miles, with Symonds Yat, tintern abbey and the Devils pulpit, Chepstow castle, Lyndney harbour & Forest of Dean all great for dog walking, Gloucester docks also well worth a visit,
What a lovely find. The cottage is in a beautiful location. In the Forest of Dean. The trees behind the cottage lead you directly to the forest walks. It is down at the end of a country lane.
The cottage is lovely. Warm and inviting. It is very well kept and is bright and clean. Lovely extra touches to show the owner cares. Fresh flowers, wine ,fresh fruit and a welcome card.
As it is dog friendly ther is a dog blanket and a dog chew. All leads to a good feeling. Big plus. The heating was on!
