Perfect relaxing weekend away!
Me and my husband spent the weekend here for our wedding anniversary and it was fantastic. Mandy is lovely and the property is quirky and different from the usual holiday lets. The hot tub made it for us - so relaxing after a day of walking and mountain biking. The view from the hot tub and balcony is stunning. The spa bath is also a real treat. Great that we could take the dogs with us too, beautiful area and lovely walks. Plenty of local information provided in the granary.
Very well equipped kitchen (although could do with a sharper knife for chopping).
The track down to the property is particularly bumpy so bear in mind if you have a low car. But worth it once you're down!
Also just for info (not that it mattered to us) but the sky tv does not have a viewing card so only terrestrial channels available rather than all the sky channels. But who needs TV when you're in such a beautiful place?
Our only regret is we couldn't stay for longer!
Thank you Mandy for a lovely stay.

Really glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciated what the Granary has to offer. Will sharpen the knife! Also for anyone thinking of coming to the Granary in the future, we are having the track repaired ready for the winter so it should make things much easier. Hope to see you again one day.

“Absolutely Fabulous”
Reviewed 19 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The Granary is in a wonderful location with stunning views from the large balcony. It is very comfortable with high quality bedding and towels, has a well equipped kitchen and a luxurious bathroom. It is the attention to detail that sets it apart from the rest and once the hot tub is installed (any minute!) we will be back for sure! Thank you Mandy and David....we had a really lovely time.

“Lived up-to expectations”
Reviewed 1 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Always wanted to visit the Forest Of Dean and after much research chose The Granary'. we were not disappointed. it is such a beautiful area and Mandy & David have created a haven within it. it was bonus that we could take our dog. you can do as much or as little as you want in the area and the owners are always on hand for any advice etc.. if not they leave to your own devices. i cannot recommend this cottage enough. it is very quaint and the views from the balcony are beautiful. it is very well equipped with everything you could want/need for your vacation. we would love to return soon. thank you Mandy and David, from Zoe, Jamie & Hunter x

“Absolutely stunning location, perfect for couples”
Reviewed 18 January 2016 for a stay in October 2015

What an amazing cottage! Stayed here for 2 nights last year and had an absolutely perfect stay.

The Granary is perfect for couples looking for a romantic weekend away. The balcony/terrace area at the back of the building looks out onto fields and you feel totally secluded.

Really lovely spa bath and a very cosy and romantic setting.

We spent a lot of time walking - beautiful views can be found at Symonds Yat!

Overall a great experience!

“Fantastic, romantic and relaxing place to stay”
Reviewed 15 December 2015 for a stay in December 2015

What an amazing place. We stayed for a weekend, and wish we could have stayed a month! A very bijou cottage for 2, with a spa bath and supplied candles and bath foam, nice and warm and cozy in the winter, great views, no traffic noise, and the most amazing mezzanine bedroom. Many supplied us with an excellent meal on arrival, which was very welcome after a long drive. The track off the main road is 'interesting' - being more pot hole than track, but passable by normal cars, and by having no signs. The local pub the Dog and Muffler does great food, and Symonds Yat is very close by.
