“Stylish family-friendly cottage”
Reviewed 2 November 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Very nice location beside a former chapell (unfortunately closed), apart from the main street with a lovely courtyard. Perfectly equipped with everything you might wish for. A little welcome was on the table when we arrived. Simply perfect.

“Excellent stay between Mountains and the Beach”
Reviewed 14 June 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Glyn Saron is an excellently appointed cottage in the village of Bryncrug. Despite the quiet countryside location, it is only a few minutes drive from Tywyn, a small town with most amenities and not too far away from Barmouth.

Our family group ranged in age from 72 to 4 and Glyn Saron was just right for all of us. The neighbours are friendly, especially if you try to speak a little bit of very wobbly Welsh - especially with a French accent!

Don't tell your friends about this delightful place, or it might become very popular and we would have difficulty booking our next stay.........

“Loved this cottage”
Reviewed 19 February 2016 for a stay in October 2015

Stayed here with my wife and son for a few days in Oct 2015 to visit the area, Talyllyn railway etc. Loved the cottage. Warm, clean, comfortable, quiet, good location for exploring. Recommend it.

“Lovely property.”
Reviewed 17 December 2015 for a stay in August 2014

very well equipped kitchen, but needed a better three piece suite. The castors were off and it was very low. Everywhere was nice and clean. Downstairs bedroom was ideal for my husband and I, as we don't do stairs anymore. Not too far away from the town or the beach, car or bikes needed though. Beautiful countryside. The grandchildren and our dog enjoyed themselves too.

Liked best: Downstairs bedroom, as we can't manage stairs.
Liked least: Uncomfortable three piece, castors off, very low, not comfy at all.

“Home from home and the kids loved it!”
Reviewed 17 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We stayed at Glyn Saron with our 4 children and had a lovely week. The cottage was exactly how it had been described. It was clean and spacious and had everything we needed an the location was perfect. The children loved going on long walks along the river of an evening after a day down by the sea which was only less than 10 minutes away in the car. We went to Dolgoch Falls on the steam train and travelled down 2 New Quay and Aberaeron which had lovely harbours and seaside views. We were quite lucky with the weather too as it only rained once. The area was very quiet and the village pub done really nice food. We would definitely stay here again. A beautiful, quiet and relaxing place to have a well earned break with the family.
