We have had numerous meals here in the past, but this was a first one here for a while for me. We were in luck as Roast Lamb was on the menu, a favourite of mine, & we all opted for this although there were excellent alternatives. We all thought it wonderful, very friendly service, & beautifully cooked lamb which was really lean. Two of us had the Strawberry pavlova with mango sauce & my daughter opted for the poached pears which you could have with a fudge sauce & vanilla ice cream. My son who hadn't wanted a pavlova to himself but wanted to share with daddy pro pour polished off most of his dad's dessert, so next time it was decided he'll have one to himself. This is a favourite haunt of ours & is where we would choose to eat when we are in the area.

We had chicken in bacon with a cream chorizo and tomato sauce, with boiled and roast potatoes and a platter of delicious vegetables. Beautifully presented, excellent value and a delicious meal. The cafe is really nicely laid out and very homely. Lovely coffee too, so good we called back in on the way back from a scramble up Castle y Bere ( great find too) for another coffee, homemade chocolate cake and welsh cakes. Browse in Dolgellau on the way back to Bala, and it was so good we are probably going to make the trip back again to the care for lunch tomorrow on the last day of our week in Snowdonia. Can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant on all levels, only puzzle is what to pick from their splendid specials menu!

We have eaten in caffi often, but was amazed by a new addition to their lovely range of food - the ulitmate pardise slice is lovely and light, sweet without being sickly and just the right thing for those calarie counting folks with it's healthy twist! Go on, ask Hillary if she has any left, i bet the answer will be "sorry no"

This is not my first visit to Caffi'r Ceunant and I was not disappointed. Have only previously had bacon sandwiches this I time had lunch. I had liver and bacon with black pudding, parsnip mash and vegetables and my friends had home made lasagne with salad and bread. Excellent value and friendly staff. Good to see the locals use the café too.
