“A generously supplied cottage in beautiful surroundings”
Reviewed 22 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

This cottage is perfectly located in a peaceful valley - especially in springtime surrounded by lambs, birds and flowers. We enjoyed the bubbling river, local walks and mountain climbs and the connections with history through immediate farms, churches and castles. The cottage has comfortable sleeping accommodation - especially useful to have enough single beds for 4 large sons. It is well equipped and full of character, generous with central heating and log burner as well as welcoming goodies and lots of local information.

“Everything one could want in a holiday.”
Reviewed 16 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We stayed at Tyn-y-Fach during the last week of July and we were all very pleased with the cottage. It is very 'olde worlde' with stone floors and low beams but has been sympathetically modernised and is very comfortable and clean. There are many things to do in the surrounding area which is very picturesque. It is situated on a working farm and children and adults will both love seeing the sheep and horses so close by. We were allowed to feed some young sheep and became rather attached to a young foal which was in the barn next to the cottage. Booking was simple and Richard and Melanie went out of their way to ensure we had all the information we might need. Thank you.
