Another wonderful night at Ty Croeso. it really is a home from home that we will return to every time we are in Crickhowell. I have stayed on my own and with our family of 8 and everything in between. On every occasion we have been blown away by the friendliness, quality and value.

Room Tip: Cwytch for two or the whole top floor for families

I booked this B&B after reading the reviews. Not completely sure what to expect as I have booked rated places previously which have disappointed.
This was from the start totally welcoming. We arrived earlier than expected and provided with tea and Welsh cakes.
The room was clean and provided everything we needed. Alex gave us lots of local information about where to eat, places to visit as well as a fabulous breakfast each morning. You cannot beat smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with toast, fruit and yoghurt. Wonderful.
One of pure walks left us rather bedraggled - again not a problem - Alex kindly put our wet walking gear in the drying room.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were given a bucks fizz on our first morning at breakfast. Lovely. Thank you.
A bar in the lounge provided us with wine and beer and we were also offered olives and nachos to go with our drinks.
Nothing was too much trouble. Alex and Cory have a beautiful B&B in an nmazing countryside.
I am working on our return visit.....

Another lovely stay at Ty Croeso, really nice to see Alex and Cory again and lovely to stay in the suit again. We love the quirkyness of that room and the bed is just so comfortable.
We went out for a couple of meals whilst we stayed there and Alex made sure that our return taxis were booked and as little as possible was left for us to do, which all adds to making this such a relaxing stay.
We both thouroughly enjoyed breakfast on both mornings and enjoy the craic with Alex' dad who always comes to have a little chat with the guests.

We really look forward to returning to Ty Croeso and will do in the near future! Thanks Alex and Cory!

Room Tip: We love the suite in the loft but the place is spotless so I assume that all rooms are beautiful!

We just stayed overnight. We were given a warm welcome with tea and Welsh cakes in the large lounge/dining room. We stayed in a standard room which was very comfortable, newly decorated and immaculately clean, even clinical. The room was rather small, though, and if we were staying longer we would have certainly wanted a larger one. Breakfast was delicious.

Room Tip: Go for a larger one.

Its my gfs birthday and we decided to give this b&b a shot, impressed by the TripAdvisor reviews. In short summary, this place lived up to all its good reviews. The service here is really special also, alex and cory really make sure your visit to here and brecons warmly and welcome. The breakfast is really tasty, made and served by the family. If we come back and stay around these parts we will come back here for sure. The views is astonishing. Rooms are tidy, very clean, decoration is not only lovely but very welcoming. Thanks again alex and cory. From Kevin and vicky

This hotel certainly lives up to it's name, "House of Welcome". Alex & Corey went out of their way to ensure we were made welcome & that our stay was enjoyable. It's the little touches that made this hotel special, the option of cava in the room, the cold water placed outside your room each night, the tea & tea cakes on arrival to name but a few. I also liked the fact it was quite Eco friendly. The decor is beautiful & plush & extremely clean & the family who own this guesthouse are a delight. It is situated upon a hill with breathtaking views of the Brecon Beacons (brecon itself is about 30minute drive away) & the small town of Crickhowell is lovely. Only a 5 minute drive to the town centre & plenty to do. All in all a fabulous break away.
