The newly refreshed room was much better than previous experiences and, at last, there were TWO fairly comfortable chairs.
Although there is no restaurant there are other quite good places to eat nearby.

Nicely refurbished room with all the basics, excellent clean accommodation for all ages at a good price. Nicely placed for Lincoln and the area with easy access from main roads north and south. Thank you.

Very convenient location just outside Lincoln on main junction & great value for money at £32. Cheaper than most of the other budget chains in Lincoln. Picked to stay here as it had been recently refurbished & after staying in some less than impressive Travelodges, we wanted to experience the fresh new look. Reception area very clean, light & airy; checked in by very efficient & pleasant lady who provided us with telephone numbers of local taxi's for our night out in Lincoln.

Directed to a room on the ground floor. All the walls in the corridors were freshly painted & the carpets brand new. Our basic, but adequate room at the front of the hotel was very pleasantly decorated in the new colours, a soft pastel shade of blue above the bed with a restful picture on the same wall & white - a change from past horrific orange which we have experienced. TV channels a little bit limited. Room was spotlessly clean, with brand new carpet, new design of nice curtains (no blinds thank goodness, although the curtain rail could have done with replacing), the very comfortable Dreamer bed & 2 red/light blue armchairs which looked a little quirky but were comfortable enough. Bathroom was clean & the area around the shower looked all new as well.

Despite the warm weather, we enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep. Got a tasty, cheap breakfast roll from the garage on site as this seemed the best value for money.

Very impressed with the new look, please Travelodge keep this fresh new look clean & don't let the standards drop. Will be back.

Stayed twice here recently with my parents in a family room before hospital appointments in Lincoln. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms fresh and clean having been recently modernised. Travelodge is always basic but this was one of the better ones and the staff were very helpful.

The only slight gripe - the second visit we were on the ground floor and the noise from the room above kept us awake. Obviously this was not the hotel's fault but the sound proofing isn't great. Also no air conditioning meant we had to leave the window open so if you're near the smoking area you can get smoke wafting into the room.

There are also good amenities nearby - two family pubs, garage, Little Chef and McDonalds. It's several miles out of the city so be prepared to travel if you're there to visit Lincoln.

Room Tip: Get an upstairs room for a quieter night.

This was a very nice room with all the basic facilities. Clean and tidy, polite staff and close to the city centre which is a lovely place to visit. It lacks some of the provisions of its competitors but for the price, it is very comfortable. The only negative I have is; it was a hot summer day when we stayed and because the windows only open a couple of inches, we could not get cool and found it difficult to sleep without air conditioning.
