2 nights with the family. Very good breakfast. Friendly owners. Located on a hill with nice view. Sit in the garden and follow the sunset. We will come again. Al lot of restaurants in Welshpool to have dinner.

The approach to the hall is very impressive and the views are fantastic. On entering the hall, we were shown our room, which was very clean, recently decorated and reasonably sized for 3 adults. The bathroom had a bath and a shower, all newly installed and again this was very clean and tidy. There was an added bonus of complimentary shampoos and soaps and plenty of clean fluffy towels. We were asked to fill in a breakfast requirement sheet and asked to give a time when we would like it. This was the first time we had ever been asked to do this, but actually the system worked very well, as the next morning there was no long wait for our more than substantial breakfast and we didn't feel pressured to vacate our seats! Overall a lovely experience and one we will be returning to very shortly!

I stayed here for a night while hiking Offa's dyke. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The house and surroundings are lovely with all original Edwardian features. The breakfast was large and excellent. It was the best value for money out of all the B&Bs I stayed in.

We booked at short notice and were very lucky with the room allocated to us and our dog. What a fabulous location overlooking the Severn Valley and very clean and comfortable accommodation. After a great sleep and a lie-in (it was 'clocks back' night, the breakfast was really delicious.
Obviously not well known enough yet, but we enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back again - thanks Lyn and Mike for your hospitality

Room Tip: Front rooms have the best views

we stayed 3 nights here and took our dog, we were in room 7. It was really big and bright, and a huge bathroom. Plenty of room to spread out and for the dog bed. a lovely large tv and the bed was extremely comfortable. Great shower too, but had to let the water run a while to get hot, but it was worth it.

amazing views of the valley

very peaceful place to stay

lovely breakfasts. An honesty bar with a big selection of drink, which we didn't take advantage of but there was certainly plenty of choice.

wifi worked in our room
