“Beautiful as always...but scary with kids and exhausting”

I always loved the falls. But wear good shoes and make sure you are fit. Sadly there are challenging parts of the trail if you are not used to such things. For a fee, I expected the trail to be in better shape. And with kids, this can really challenge your blood pressure. But it is beautiful and there is a sense of achievement once you get back.

Well worth a visit, absolutely stunning views.
Wear some good walking shoes as you will be walking up and down some very steep steps/hill.
A must do

visited here and it was fantastic for the price for 2 adults and 2 children. it certainly isnt for the infirm as in places even i felt bit unsteady with the ground walking down jacobs ladder wow very steep but the view was magnificent of the waterfall. it took us about 1 hr to do the walk as the walk back up is very steep in places and as it had been raining it was a little bit wet underfoot but all in all for the price of about 14 it was well worth it for people who dont mind heights.

Very steep areas of steps so you need to consider your fitness but other than that this is a lovely afternoon out for all ages. We thouroughly enjoyed it and thought it great value for money, cheap as chips.

We took the steam train from Aberystwyth to Devils bridge a trip of an hour along a very scenic route and a great start to this trip.
Once having arrived we took the short walk from the station to the Devils Bridge entrance and it cost's £3.75 for adults, £2.00 for children(5 - 16) £3.00 for students and Senior Citizens and free for under 5's.
This site is unsuitable for dog's and pushchairs due to the 600 steps down and back up again.

So what is it well its a mix of a very impressive Bridge construction that has to be seen to be believed, very impressed that people could have come up with such a clever solution to bridge the gap and all its water falls. The walk takes about 45 minutes allowing time to stop and admire the water falls and take pictures. The descent is steep and in wet weather, which we had quite slippery also so the proper footwear is a must as is the correct waterproof clothing. That said the ascent is taxing and you get to work up a bit of a sweat and you soon feel it in your thighs and calfs :-).
A simple natural attraction of a number of impressive waterfalls which leave you smiling at the noise and majesty.
Once you have completed the trek their is a very pleasant Hotel at the entrance/Exit to refresh yourself and catch your breath, they were a little over whelm on he day of our visit due to a staff shortage but the staff that were there worked hard and were very helpful and friendly. There is also a cafe at the railway station at Devils Bridge which also does great simple food and refreshments in very pleasant relaxing surroundings.

A great day out.

A great trip including the steam train ride to get there which was well worth the effort.
