“Beautiful place, people and surroundings”

I have never wrote a review before but felt compelled to write one due to the effort Bill and Debbie put into making our stay a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

I arrived with my husband and two friends and were greeted very warmly by the owners. The cottage is very pretty and well presented and we were very impressed as we were shown around. The garden was well maintained and we were pleased with our rooms and the facilities which we found to be very comfortable, clean and homely.

From the off the owners were very friendly, making us feel very welcome and it seemed that they couldn't do enough for us. They supplied us with everything we needed and there was even access to a washing machine and dryer to clean our clothes after our walks and bike rides during the day which meant we had no washing to do when we got home. During the evenings we sat and relaxed in the big garden, used the barbeque provided and admired the sunset which was really beautiful. On one night we also took a trip to the local village pub which was on the river and very picturesque.

This review would not be complete without mentioning the breakfasts which were fantastic and we really enjoyed, top marks goes to Bill the chef from us all as the full english's were top notch.

All in all, big thanks to the owners for making our experience so enjoyable and the only thing I was disappointed about was the fact we only stayed for 4 nights. When we are looking to stay in North Wales again, we will will be in touch with Buck Farm without any hesitation as this was one of the best breaks we have had in recent years.

“Highly Impressed”

A lovely comfortable cottage with a very welcoming atmosphere located in a beautiful area. Furthermore, complimented by friendly and helpful owners, were nothing seemed too much trouble. Although we booked self-catering, each morning we took advantage of the enjoyable cooked breakfast option, served at the adjoining Buck Farm Bed and Breakfast.
We were highly impressed at the variety of activities and local places of interest and natural beauty to visit. Such as the boat trip across the impressive Telford aqueduct, then white water rafting at near- by Llangollen. Other days we either took a steam train up Snowdon or just relaxed on the beach and pier at Llandudno with its Great Orme. Furthermore, exploring the historic roman city of Chester is well worth the time, or/and, as we did spend an afternoon at Bangor on Dee horse races.
Such a nice place with many other things to see and do, therefore, we have booked to stay a bit longer next year.
