Can not praise the 'The Old Cowshed' enough. We were blessed with fine weather which turned the break into the perfect holiday. Finished to an exceptional standard with everything available that you could want, truly a home from home. Perfect location for a quiet, safe break with the kids and the dog, we were all sad to leave. We want to go back.

“Perfect cottage”

It's our first visit to Pembrokeshire and we have had such a thoroughly enjoyable week! The cottage is fully equipped and has been lovingly converted & furnished. It has a wonderful fire place, mezzanine, perfect grounds for the kids and dog to run around and a great 'boot room' for those all important wellies post dog walk! The area is remote which suited our family yet it is in a great spot for touring and amenities. There is masses to do in the area and we've been lucky to have sunshine for beach walks, Easter egg hunt in the garden, dinosaur park, ghost hunting at Carew castle (no ghost monkey found this time!), visit to Tenby and Bluestone waterpark......such a lovely spot to have some much needed family time! Our family and doggie would highly recommend the old cowshed and would love to come back to explore more of this stunning area of Wales :)

“Excellent for a party for a group of friends.”

We hired the old cowshed over New Year for a group of us and it was perfect.

There were 6/7 of us planned to be there but a few friends also came for New Year's Eve so there was 9 of us in total. With the 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and sofa bed and large sofa on the mezzanine it was fine for 9 of us for one night. Also the living room and kitchen are really big so again, plenty of room.

The house is finished to a very high standard with everything you could want there. The boot room is ideal for dumping, well boots actually as well as coats and bags etc so the rest of the house doesn't get messed up.

Would definitely rent this property again for a similar gathering.

“Great stay in a beautiful home during the festive period”

This property has to be seen to be believed. Upon arrival on the Saturday after Christmas, we were blown away. It certainly has the wow factor and although a great size, it also feels cosy and homely. Everything you could need is available for a relaxing getaway in the country. The area is also close to some beautiful coastal walks (10 minutes by car) and Milford Haven for shopping (20 mins by car). Highly recommended - book this great value gem.

Enjoyed our second visit and the wood burner was a treat on chilly nights! Explored some great costal paths and visited some lovely beaches that were empty due to the time of year! Recommend visiting martins haven to see the seals! Will definitely be booking to come back for another enjoyable holiday

“Lovely Home”
Reviewed 3 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We decided to have a break at St Ishmael's and we found a lovely home. The Barn is well presented with everything you could ask for. We have 2 dogs and its not always easy to find a property that you can take them to but they have a boot room so you can take your dog towels wash them down as there is a lovely walk in shower room so if they get very dirty, can rinse them down before going into the main part of the barn via the kitchen.Lots of lovely walks & like ourselves if you have never been to this area before the owners have left lots of information on were to go. I loved the Friday Farmers market and bought lots of good produce. The Old Cow Shed has lots of lovely seating area outside so if you want to enjoy a lovely break this is the place to try. Great sea food to buy Lobster, Crab, Mackerel, Sea Bass & much more.So if you spend your day sight seeing you can enjoy a lovely evening in this home. They also have excellent TV .We will be booking again!!

“Wonderful high spec home away from home.”

This was our first visit to Pembrokeshire. We absolutely loved the Old Cowshed and the surrounding area with it's proximity to the countryside, sea and towns. During our 5 night stay, we cycled to near by beaches, went horse Riding along Druidstone beach ( brilliant guides and horses at Nolton Stables). We enjoyed hiking and were ideally situated half way between St David's ( beautiful) and Tenby. The barn is a spacious, comfortable, high spec, first class home away from home. We definitely recommend this accomodation and will most certainly return. The log burner was lovely in the evenings providing a very snug and cosy ambience. The resident owl was a wonderful surprise to hear at night. Our little dog also made himself very at home and loved sitting looking out of the small, floor level windows. This is certainly a gem of a home to which we will return. Marika and Andre'
