I was at Four Seasons a week ago on a Friday night. We booked a table for two and ordered wine and the cheese platter. The staff are ever so helpful and they even suggested that we take the smaller cheese platter rather than the larger since it was enough for two - very nice and honest. The platter comes with bread and a wide variety of cheeses and salamis which was delicious!

I highly recommend this place. Very nice atmosphere, great service and delicious food!
Perfect for a couple's night out.

Yesterday I was at this gourmet seven course meal served for a distinguished number of food critics. Food was nicely presented course by course based on Italian Cuisine. Tonio and Gianfranco surprised all those present with the exquisite selection of food that was freshly cooked live in front of those present. The food was complemented with a wide range of wines that Sammy has on the vast wine list. This was a start to a number of gourmet nights that will be held at Four Seasons. It is only by booking and spaces are limited.
I will not miss out if i were you.
Well done Sam and Chefs

They say that it doesn't pay to judge a book by it's cover and this bar certainly proves the point. It is plain and uninspiring from the outside, however once inside the front door you are greeted by one of the most professional team of staff that I have ever had the pleasure to encounter.
It is a really charming traditional Maltese village bar, mostly patronised by locals (who are obviously in on the 'secret').
The owner is a most polite, charming fellow and he uses the exact opposite of hard sell: for example, my wife and I chose a cheese platter and he encouraged us to order for one person rather than two due to his generous servings. My God, how true - an amazing array of local and foreign cheeses, local dips, warm fresh bread and little water biscuits (galletti).
The wine list is superb, we had a splendid single estate Pinot Grigio which was sublime. The owner's knowledge of his wine class is first class.
In conclusion, I really cannot speak too highly of this marvellous bar and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Maltese hospitality.
Remember to book: it is small and cosy but gets very busy. Also, no children allowed, so leave Little Johnny at home with his grandparents and make the most of some quality kid-free time !
