An authentic pizza and pasta Italian restaurant run by the Failla family who always extend a friendly welcome. Not an extensive or fancy menu but a very good selection of pizza, pasta and risotto favourites with a few chicken, steak and fish dishes too which are always excellent. Good regional wines at sensible prices. A smart café /diner ambience and a simple good food formula make Gio's a great value place to have a very pleasant meal.
I particularly like the house Calzone folded pizza.
If we want somewhere to enjoy a good meal together without paying the earth or a place to meet friends Gio's comes high on our list.
