We found Morlyn by a happy coincidence. We went not knowing what to expect - but whatever we expected Morlyn exceeded it!!!
Beautiful setting with amazing views. Comfortable, clean, well equipped rooms. Lots of lovely hot water and fluffy towels. Enormous, beautifully cooked breakfast. Evening meals that wouldn't be out of place in a high class restaurant. This is far more than your average B&B/Guesthouse.
Train halt to get you anywhere up and down the coast is a stones throw away (in fact, you could get there easily by train from the Midlands if you wanted to).

Dog friendly - without showing evidence of dog use. (Kya says thanks for the sausages!).

Best of all though is the warm, friendly greeting and service from the lovely Lisa and Steve. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They made our stay feel very special. We are already planning our return

No idea where janice t stayed but it wasn't on the same planet as this Morlyn.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent. If you ring and speak to Lisa or Steve they will match you up with the ri...

We have stayed at The Morlyn on many occasions and have always been completely satisfied. Previously we used to try there first for accommodation when we wanted to visit relatives in Harlech. Having had mediocre stays at other local establishments we now check that there are vacancies with Lisa and Steve and only then plan further details of our visit! The welcome is always warm, the rooms are all well equipped and spotlessly clean and the food quality and preparation is outstanding. We're already looking at dates for our second visit of the year!

Unsure about comment below, possibly posted about wrong hotel. I discovered this little gem on trip advisor and it completely lived up to expectation. Lisa and Steve are the kindest and most hospitable people to run this guest house. They looked after myself and my fiancé for an entire week faultlessly with nothing too much trouble. The cleanliness of the place was second to none and the quality of food and accommodation was perfect.

We cannot wait to find and opportunity to Return and bring out baby which is due very soon to stay again

Thanks again

We have stayed at the Morlyn guest house and we found it to be dated, dirty and unwelcoming. The rear yard to the guest house smelt horrible. We think this was a combination of the drains and dog wee.We were invited into the kitchen area and to be honest we will not be eating at that establishment again.

I and my dog Ramsey have had a week here and loved every minute of it. The underfloor heating dealt with wet everything and Llety Bach has all one can desire: mountain and harbour view, comfortable bed, cleanliness and kind, attentive but unobtrusive hosts . The food is homecooked, varied, plentiful and on HOT PLATES. The coffee is 'proper', local knowledge is on tap and daily papers 'appear' with breakfast. The beach is nearby and it is almost on the Coastal Way; the train is two minutes away and Harlech, Porthmadog, Dolgellau, Snowdon, Conwy are in easy reach. St Tanwg's C4 church is a delight. We shall return Steve and Lise and hopefully have your mother's company again. Even better - dogs are welcome by arrangement.

Room Tip: You can't put a pin between them.

Having only camped before in this part of the world this year we tried staying in a B&B, and it was brilliant.
Our room was great - double bed with ensuite shower, as well as a 'living room' area which opened onto a balcony with fantastic views over the hills (also had a single bed in this area so I guess would count as a 3-bed room). Bed was comfortable, room was clean, access from back of B&B was great too as was easy to come and go as we pleased.
Breakfasts were amazing - big cooked breakfasts as well as delicious fruit with yoghurt (which I have since been trying to recreate at home). Lisa and Steve are fantastic hosts - friendly and helpful and inquisitive about our daily outings and always helpful with suggestions (without seeming intrusive at all).
We stayed for 6 nights and I felt the price was a bargain for the room we got and the breakfasts, in such a lovely location.
Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: I booked months in advance (February for a August holiday) and I got a very big room. I think some o...
