I fell in love with the villa from the moment I saw it online 2 years ago. So much so in fact I phoned Sara and asked her if I could propose to my girlfriend (now wife) on the grounds.

She couldn't have been more accommodating, and after my wife said yes, Sara even went so far as providing a bottle of prosecco and some pastries to celebrate.

Our impression was so positive that we decided to get married there and have our friends and family stay with us in the villa.

1. Stunning house in beautiful grounds not far from Lucca. The massive kitchen just invites people to sit and talk. The bedrooms are beautifully styled and well apportioned, and roomy. The views are breathtaking. From the moment I got up in the morning, I had to just walk outside and take in the views.

2. The care that Sara, and her team of Franko and Laura are second to none. Any query or question was handled promptly, without fuss and with a smile.

I can highly recommend staying here, and I can't wait till we come back.
