Return trip on Fathers day - thank you. With Dad in his 80's, and generally very ham egg and chips style conservative in his tastes, the fantastic welcome, quality of service and very tasty food we continue to enjoy at Sunny Spice is of such high standard that he selected this restaurant as his venue of choice for our family meal - and we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit - Thank you. All of us enjoyed our South Indian food. As a couple we enjoy the conservatory however the ambiance of the main dining area is restful and conducive to a pleasant experience for family or group events, this is my wife's favorite venue.

Found this little surprise in Truro while looking for an affordable dinner while on our 7 week European travels. The staff were very helpful and friendly both in choosing our dishes and in all round service. The food was delicious, being South Indian style. Sunny Spice is worth a visit if you like authentic Indian food and of course you happen to be in Truro.

The first thing I should say is that the food is terrific! Southern Indain, Goan and Keralan food is so refreshingly different from the usual Indian fare which is predominantly Bangladeshi. So for no other reason you should give it a try.

Service was great, and the staff helpful.

The slightly odd thing about it is that it's a restaurant located in a pub, and the two things don't seem to have mingled or merged at all. They need to do a bit more work on how that all gels.

Certainly worth a try and hopefully they will succeed

Ate dinner here with friends, the menu is quite limited and is a mix of Indian/European cuisine which in my opinion just doesn't work. it needs to be one or the other. The food was cold, and the fish was almost raw, I know that fish needs very little cooking, but come on it needs some. The meal was replaced and apologies were made but the evening was ruined, the other meals were not brilliant either and the service was very slow although they didn't appear to be busy. I won't be returning that's for sure.
