The Townhouse is within walking distance of the City of Truro albeit up a bit of a hill, but not that bad. We went to a concert at the Hall for Cornwall and decided to make a treat of it and stay for a couple of nights to do some shopping. Hadn't expected much from the stay as we hadn't seen the rooms when booking but we were really surprised - lovely comfy beds, well appointed room with much attention to detail, quiet location at the back overlooking an unexpectedly delightful garden. Excellent and fresh choice for continental breakfast in a designated kitchen/dining room which was open for tea/coffee or takeaways during the day. Will definitely be returning again.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Townhouse Rooms. We had a room at the back of the property well away from the noise of the main road. The room was really nicely furnished with a great ensuite bathroom. The breakfast room had a good range of eats and the location is perfect for exploring southern and central Cornwall. The free wifi was a nice bonus and we would have no hesitation in staying here again.

We were a team of 4 travelling for work and were greeted by the owner's sister who was so friendly and welcoming, we couldn't have asked for more. Each of the four rooms were definitely top notch and decorated/furnished with attention to detail. Very clean, hot power showers. We were amazed too by the offering of home made cakes and snacks from the open house style kitchen after we'd arrived. Can't recommend this The Townhouse enough - def not your usual B&B! I even left my iPad in my room and received a call from Imogen letting me know (wouldn't happen if staying anywhere else I bet!) so I nipped back and collected.

Room Tip: Nice restaurants just down the hill in to Truro - a couple of bistros, nice Indian a short walk as w...

This hotel is really good, in a convenient city centre location with outstandingly good bedrooms, king size beds, modern bathrooms and all spotlessly clean. I would heartily recommend it. There is plenty of parking, a beautiful garden and fresh home made cake available on arrival.

A very pleasant place to stay, close to everything you’d probably want to see in Truro, with immaculately clean, spacious rooms, a kitchen where you can find homemade cakes during the day, and a lovely garden in the back yard. The hostess is very helpful and friendly. Wi-Fi is free, but if you don’t have a laptop with you, there’s a computer in the kitchen, which turned out to be very handy.

Lovely big room (#12), immaculate bathroom (I've stayed at many B&B's with lousy showers - this wasn't one of them), hospitality simply outstanding: our hostess gave us several recommendations of things to do and places to eat, and every one was bang on. Good selection of breakfast options (yogurts, milks, cereals, breads, pastries, fruit) and a beverage machine that made a decent cup of coffee. There's also a guest fridge...and a wine list! Free wi-fi throughout, and TV.

Good parking with access onto not too busy a road. Town centre is a 5min walk/10min stroll, but the hill will give you the chance to lose a few calories! Good laundry (Truro Laundry) nearby.

Will definitely stay here again...definitely

This is a hotel with a difference. Homemade scones and cake every day and choice of excellent coffee, tea and hot chocolate (free). There is also a computer set-up in the kitchen and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
The rooms are lovely and all slightly different.
Breakfast is continental style with lots of fresh fruit, pastries, crumpets, cheeses etc. etc. They don't offer evening meals but June will point you in the direction of the many restaurants close by. If you want to get a takeaway you can bring it back to the hotel and eat it in the dining room. They also stock some nice wine which is very reasonably priced!
The garden is very pretty and well stocked and is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or a coffee.
All in all this is lovely place to stay whether it's for business or pleasure....and I should know as I have stayed here for over 2 years and would not hesitate in returning again and again.
June is a wonderful host and is always on hand with her extensive knowledge of all things Cornish!!

Room Tip: All the rooms I have stayed in have been lovely!
