me and my partner decided to head down to truro for valentines weekend as it was our first place we went to when we got together Ann was so welcoming and friendly the room was so cheap for its location and beauty we had a double room and the bed was amazing i still miss it now the room was beautiful the bathroom was so big and clean she was fully booked but it was always available she had beautiful artwork and photos all over the house she has certainly led a beautiful life of amazing memories that your privileged to share the breakfast was out of this world so many choices for cereals aswell she was so helpful the trains had all stopped an she was giving us updates that we very much appreciated this is a lovely b&b but the one thing that makes it so perfect is Ann herself you'll never need for anything staying here we'll be goin back again in a few months that's for sure 5 stars most definitely xxx

I called in here when trying to find accommodation in Truro after the last full day of cycling John O'Groats to Land's End. There is a bottle neck of accommodation towards the end of the route and at 6.30pm it's not easy to find somewhere if you have not booked ahead. There were no vacancies, but the landlady very kindly spent twenty minutes calling around and finally found me somewhere just five minutes walk away. What is more, I am sure she would have accommodated me in some way had there not been anywhere. So even though I did not stay here, I would like to express my thanks to the landlady and would encourage anybody to stay there simply on the basis of the kindness showed towards me.

I stayed 3 nights, and it was a real treat to have a friendly welcome, with a beautifully furnished room with shower, the toilet only a few steps outside my room. All the facilities were extremely clean. There was a wide variety of choice for breakfast, cooked excellently. The owner had a great personality and was very helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this B & B

The Bay Tree is a smallish B&B (there are no ensuite rooms) but close to Truro Station so met all needs for a convenient and welcoming place. The owner is very helpful. Really good value (warning to dieters - the breakfasts are good!).

Room Tip: The larger room with shower is at the front but the main road is not that noisy at night so no problem.
