“Pleasant and interesting, bit crowded”

This is an interesting enough stop off. There is no need to pay - though you do get a free tasting at the end if you take the paid tour. Ciders not as good as the ones on draught at The Stable beach bar in Newquay, presumably because they're more commercial (do they have to put preservative in or something?). Restaurant was very slow despite being not that busy. Attractive farm buildings and very friendly staff.

“A lovely 1-2 hours out for free! (kind of)”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 August 2014

This is worth a visit if you are in the area. It is free in but clearly everything you do here you need to pay for, the tour and tractor rides are fairly expensive around £7.50 each so for a family of 4 it's a great cost!
You can just find your own way around but you will have seen and done it all in about 30 mins max.
The cream teas were lovely, a real treat with their home made jam and the scones are cooked fresh on the day - for them I give them 5* !!!!
The kids enjoyed seeing the farm animals.

Good mini stop. Wouldn't pay for the tour but lots to do for free. My 2 year old loved the animals. Nice jams and free cider tasting but that was a bit of a cattle market.

“Brilliant place and interesting”

We have been here several times just for the shop but this time we came here and did the tour. This was £7.50 but we have a voucher for a £1 off per person. Tom was our tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. You go through the press and the bottling area and we were informed of the history of each place. We also got taken into the museum and the cellar. At the end you get to sample all of what they have to offer without feeling any pressure to purchase. You also get to go on a tractor ride which takes you through the orchards and you can see that apples that they use growing. They have a lovely café which offers a good range of food that is fairly reasonable. They also offer cream teas made with their own jam. You can sample the fruit juices and ciders in the shop but you can also sample the jams, mustards and chutneys down in the jammery again with no pressure to buy. They are in the middle of expanding at the moment but this doesn't cause to much disruption.
We will return here again for shop but Thanks to Tom we learnt a lot more about the product that we are buying.

An excellent place to visit. We did the tour, and Alex M was our guide, he was very good and informative throughout. Huge variety of cider, juices and jam to try. Tractor ride through the orchards was enjoyable. We would recommend to anyone looking for a great way to spend a couple of hours.
