Great place for the kids to get up close with some goats and stroke the horses. Good value for money and you get what you pay for.
Bought fresh hens eggs while we were there which tasted brilliant when we cooked them up!

“Love duckys”
Reviewed 25 August 2014 via mobile

We regularly visit duckys and absolutely love it. The children love the soft play area inside and we always brush the rabbits. This time we got to feed the baby lambs. We dont often spend a full day here but always have lunch which is fairly priced and tastes good. The admission price is fair which is why we keep coming back as it is a pretty cheap but fun and educational day out. See you again very soon duckys park farm x

“Good clean and spruce up needed.”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

Visited with granddaughter last week. Very disappointed at the conditions the animals were kept in. Lots of guineapigs and rabbits crammed together in poor housing. The pigs were inside when they should be out in fields. Only the hens looked happy!
The whole place looked uncared for and dirty.
After paying £6. 50 each admission, we then had then to pay extra for children's rides at £1 a time.
All the feeding and drinking vessels for the animals were just cheap and makeshift. Got the impression no-one cared for the place or the animals.

Thank you for your response. Maybe it would have been better if you had voiced your opinions on the day. The rabbits and guinea pigs are perfectly happy and they have a lot of free space in the runs. They are kept in groups because there are new litters at the moment and we cannot touch the babies. We also have runs outside and they are rotated in these runs daily if the weather is good.
Pigs can live inside or out and they are quite happy with either. If we had all the animals outside then you would complain there was nothing to see in the barn.
The rides which you paid for are coin operated and you can choose either to use them or not. The barrel train is charged for as it takes fuel and insurance and you are told of this charge if you decide to go on it. Again it is up to you whether you chosse to use it or not.
There is an ongoing maintenance program but it is a farm at the end of the day. We are very particular about the welfare of our pets and have daily checks done on them all. Their food containers are recycled plastic drums which are brilliant in standing up to the weather and quite sturdy with the roughness of some of our animals.
I really wish people would come and say things at the time then this could all be explained to you instead of writing reviews after the fact.

“Great”
Reviewed 19 August 2014 via mobile

My and my boyfriend went to Ducky's Farm with our two children who are 5 and 6 and they really enjoyed it. Well worth the day out for any age. And really good value for money. And staff are really friendly and helpful.
