“Fun little strip”
Reviewed 17 September 2013

All the restaurants have great views, duh. A lot of places have limited hours, which wasn't an issue for us but could be for others. We walked up and down it a lot, the memory of it is etched in there for me and I enjoy it.

“Touristic but Fun”
Reviewed 4 September 2013

Beautiful street to roam along and above the beach. Lots of tourists, but it's still worth a stroll. Many good places to eat and hang out. Enjoy!

“Fun time at the Malecon”
Reviewed 20 August 2013

The Malecon really comes alive on Sunday! The markets opened, some more beachside restaurants opened up, and many yummy food trucks were there - reasonably priced food. I enjoyed seeing all of the locals. Belly Buttons and Lazy Jacks were always a great place to stop and have a quick bite to eat with some awesome drinks! We also rented a kayak from Fun Brothers to take to a small island to snorkel and then rowed over to Sun Bay and swam for a bit!

“Hanging out!”
Reviewed 14 August 2013

Is the main street in La Esperanza so you will see allot of cars drive by, some policemen just hanging out under a tree and lots of places to eat. Their is a big place to park down the street and the beach is right there.

What a treat to stroll through Esperanza on this little malecon. The view to the bay is lovely and the breeze is great.
