I've driven past a thousand times, but the only time I had previously visited was 25 years ago. It's a lovely little pub, ample parking and nice inside - exactly what you want in a country pub. It was also really lovely to see so many people there with their impeccably behaved dogs.
I was meeting a friend for lunch and we had a couple of light bites, soup and a ciabatta, both were very nice and arrived quickly, even though the pub was quite busy. The bar staff (whom I assumed to be the owners) were friendly and helpful.
I did look at the Trip Advisor reviews before I went and was confused by the extremes of review, so much so, that after visiting I went home and googled to double check if there was another Drusilla's nearby, because the experience I had in there bore no resemblance to the negative reviews I read about.
Overall a lovely little pub, with a good menu and a nice atmosphere.
