We chose Sumartin to spend the last few days of our trip, partly because a friend's grandfather had been a boat-builder there before emigrating to the U.S., but also because it looked to be divinely un-touristy and quiet. We were not disappointed. Our hosts–Slobodan and his wife, and their delightful daughter, Vedrana couldn't do enough for us, even inviting us to a quite sumptuous meal our last night. The room had a lovely view over the harbour, was peaceful and comfortable. We rented a car and explored most of Braç from the comfort of this truly delightful spot, walked along the quay to the beaches and wandered all through the tiny alleys before it got hot every day. But the best thing, was our hosts.
