This trip was incredible! I was there with a group of friends and we all couldn't believe our luck at staying in such a beautiful place!
The house is huge and tastefully, beautifully decorated, with loads of adorable little quirky touches. It's located on the edge of a gorgeous, picturesque little medieval village, with an olive-grove in the garden, next to the big, luxury pool. We spent our days sunbathing and swimming listening to the cicadas singing around us, exploring the cute surrounding villages and markets, and drinking as much of the locally produced cheese and wine as we could!
There's a wine producers cooperative in the village where we did a tasting, they talked us through the local grapes and we bought some of the best-priced rose I've ever seen to enjoy on the terrace watching the equally pink sunset. Every morning we walked to the local village bakery to get fresh bread.
The views from all the rooms in the house are stunning, but this is the biggest, best room of all. Quiet, spacious and with an amazing big soft bed. The shower is warm and has good water pressure (these things matter!)
The hosts speak native English and are incredibly helpful, they really let you make the most of your trip, letting us know all the best places to see around the local area (we rented a car, which is recommended as you can explore more easily)
I have stayed here a few times now and never had an experience that was anything less than wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend trying it out!
