My family and I recently spent 3 night's at Tullah TimeOut. We had a really enjoyable experience. The accommodation was spacious and catered for our every need, and it is in a beautiful and peaceful location with stuuning views of the nearby lake. The first day we took advantage of the offer to use the canoes, and spent a relaxing day on and around the lake. The second day we drove to Cradle Mountain National Park (only about an hour away). The Park has spectacular scenery, and there are many different walks to do to enjoy this wonderful place. Late in the day we were even lucky enough to see a wombat!
Shopping at Tullah is limited so it is essential to stock up with food on the way. However we did enjoy a good meal at one of the bars a short walk around the lake.
Altogether highly reccommended!
you need to bring all the food you need as the closest grocery store is about 15km away. It does have everything you need If you get there early enough. very friendly people there too.
there,s a pizza place accross the street from the grocery store. good food.
The house is large and clean. there is a washer and dryer. the kitchen is a little bit small, the sink drove me nuts :) also, the house makes a lot of cracking sounds. we got use to it pretty fast.
it is close enough to cradle mountain which is great plus. also, we found the Montezuma waterfall which was a great hike. A must if you are in the area.
we did not use them but bicycles and kayaks were available.
Only down side was: no Wi-Fi and bad cell connection.
I would like to go back with a few friends - it would be a great vacation.
