In June 2006, we did a week-long driving trip through Ireland. We drove across England and took the ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare. We chose Victoria House on the advice of a friend. We were a bit concerned as there was no review on TripAdvisor but It turned out to be a wonderful place to stay.
It was only a 5-minute drive from the ferry. That was so nice as our ferry did not arrive until after 8pm. There was plenty of free parking and check-in was very quick and pleasant.
The house was beautiful, both from the outside and inside. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. My favorite place was the bright, sunny, and yellow breakfast room. It was very nicely done and the breakfast was delicous.
Vivienne was very nice and accomodating. She was more than willing to give us information for our ongoing trip. I can't imagine a better place to stay if you are arriving or departing from Rosslare ferry!
